"The Music to Cook to" series started as mixes I made while living in and DJing in Brooklyn NY around 2003. Right around the time I began to really dig into vinyl, the breaks and soul and drift further from only playing hiphop. 
I some how deemed the vibes from the music I was getting into suitable for cooking and eating. I mean you can't just go eat to Onyx Or Wu-tang...I mean you can...But I'm about setting vibes and moods, So sit down and enjoy April 25th's meal.  This mix is made with( 75% )vinyl and Serato for select tracks. Cover art by me. Cooks for approx 30 mins. Yum

"Music to burn too", is the second installment of the Sunday Sessions hosted live in River side studios in Poughkeepsie NY. SLEPTEMBERS is a long time DJ and member of the Jade Palace Guard. 
The mix is composed of vinyl, Sp202 and sound collages. It strictly highlights whats i was listening too on that particular Sunday. 7-9-17

"Music to Burn Too"

A mix to accompany the fleeting summer. If you know my mixes you know they are all over the board with the styles of music. But one linking factor is certain. Dope Drums!! Created in one take late one hot August night with Vinyl, a SP-202 and mp3s. Made to be listened too with head phones at a high volume while putting that smoke in the air!

Summer In August 19

Ive been slowly digitizing my archive of tapes. This one is a variety of radio shows recorded while living in the West Village of Manhattan and then in Jersey City. The stations were Columbia Univ in NYC (WKCR) and then WFMU in Jersey. Crazy to think new music would come from underground college and freeform radio stations you'd have to sit with a boom box in my case and pause / record as the show went on. These tapes are un-edited to give the real experience with all its hissing and static and songs that cut off. Put something in the air and enjoy..Peep that Pumpkin Head ( RIP) and J-Live radio appearence.
