Niacin lives in oxford uk and has long had a passion for edm,more so especially for old school jungle from the very early 90s . In 1987 i fell in love with "acid house" and a seed was sown. I'm now a 47yr old woman who used to be a Female Vocalist that worked Pubs, Labour & Conservative Clubs, Hotels etc. I sang songs that ranged from Vera Lynn right up to the most recent Artists of the time I was singing. As knackering as nit could be at times I absolutely loved 😍 singing and I only gave it up due to a serious relationship breakdown and my becoming a single mum who couldn't drive due to having Epilepsy. That however doesn't stop me loving music & I love everything from Rock n Roll to present day Rap, Hip Hop, RnB etc, which is why I'm on SoundCloud as there's so many DJs who have so many fantastic Remixes!!!

After a 13-year break, the time has finally arrived for a return to the turntables. The decision to reignite the passion for DJing was not merely a choice but a calling. After watching my kids grow into adults, I felt the time was right to get back to what I love doing.

The return to the decks is more than just a hobby—it's a homecoming, a reclamation of identity, and a celebration of a love affair that knows no bounds. Some passions are simply too powerful to remain dormant forever.

When I DJ now, including my recordings, everything is live and captured in one set. It would be easy to correct mistakes, but that wouldn't be authentic. I want listeners to experience a true live set. When I buy new tunes, I select my starting track from the recent acquisitions, then let the rhythm decide the rest.

I started "ravin" at 16y.o at a little club in Warrington, called Legends from 1990-93 and I hung up my ravin shoes in 95 for family life, but boy was it the best years of my miss spent youth.
So, if you're like me an older cheesy quaver 50 + we're the generation that knows what good choonz are all about !

Well I have finally bought some DJ gear, A Denon MC-6000 mk1 controller, a laptop & some powerd speakers. Never used a controller or CDJ's B4,so this should be fun to say the least lol.
