This Friday marks the 25th anniversary of the release of Depeche Mode's landmark 'Violator' album, and it's also the anniversary of the band's infamous in-store at a Wherehouse record store in Los Angeles. To mark the occasion, here is about 7 minutes of KROQ's broadcast that night, featuring Richard Blade interviewing the members of the band about the album and their touring plans.  This was recorded off the radio on a TDK D-90 cassette and stored in a Vans shoebox for the subsequent 25 years.
