SlideAttack, a Jazz Quintet featuring trombonists Howard Levy and Alan Goidel is a modern incarnation of the group formerly led by the great J.J. Johnson and Kai Winding. We play fresh arrangements of jazz standards from the swing era to hard bop and beyond, by composers Kenny Dorham, J.J. Johnson, George Gershwin, Hank Mobley and others, along with original material.


I write and play keyboards. and bass guitar.  Funk, jazz, R&B, rock, classical, electronica, video game music, fusion, afrobeat, church(conservative, rock/rock/pop, gospel).   I'm in the NYC area (upper Westchester).  I can sight read well, play well with singers, and keep time.  Plus I make sure to bring the attitude, energy, and exuberance.
