Jhelisa Anderson is a vocalist and producer. 

Vocalist Jhelisa Anderson started her career in Soul Family Sensation. Since her debut in 1994 she has become an accomplished solo artist singing, writing & producing under her first name, Jhelisa. 

She made two albums and a string of singles and EP's. Her best known track was "Friendly Pressure", a tune that was remixed and re-released many times. She's also been a guest singer for Björk (all backing vocals on the "Debut" album), Paul Weller, The Shamen, Block 16, and A.P.E.. Also making guest appearances with jazz boho's like Courtney Pine and Bob Belden. 

Her sister is Pamela Anderson (aka P.Y. Anderson), who sang with D*Note and Incognito, her cousin is Carleen Anderson, and her aunt and step-uncle are Vicki Anderson & Bobby Byrd.

Sharon Robinson, AKA ‘Terea’ (her middle name) is an American singer, songwriter, and record producer, best known, loved and adored as a frequent writing collaborator of Leonard Cohen. She toured as back-up singer for Cohen in 1979 and 1980, and then again during 2008–2013. They co-wrote the songs “Everybody Knows” and “Waiting for the Miracle”, released in 1988 and 1992 respectively. In 2001 she co-wrote, produced, arranged and performed the backing tracks (as well as appearing alongside Cohen on the cover) for his album Ten New Songs. Robinson also contributed to three tracks on Cohen's 2004 album Dear Heather, and duetted with Cohen on “The Letters”. At the start of her career she released a wonderful, self-titled soul album called simply, “Terea” from which we’ve plucked the glorious ‘Pretty Bird’. The album’s release was undermined by the record label being a glorified tax dodge, but was finally re-issued by Jazzman Records. Sharon has also written songs for a number of other artists, including The Pointer Sisters, Aaron Neville, Brenda Russell, Diana Ross, Don Henley, Michael Bolton, Randy Crawford, Patti LaBelle, Roberta Flack, and The Temptations. Despite the artist name and album title, this is far from being the collection of 15 limp, same-y soul ballads you might be fearing! Instead, Secret Soul Society - AKA Neon Heights front man Cal Gibson and friends - serve up veritable sm?rg?sbord of Balearic delights, from the dusty, looped disco-soul of 'Better Get To Know You' and the folksy Laurel Canyon vibes of 'Groovy Coconuts' to the 80s soul redux of 'Find Our Way', the bonkers 'Leeping For Joy' which should appeal to fans of 4hero, Four Tet et al, and the Stevie Nicks-biting 'Stevie Loves Bettye'.
