Julia Waskan (@juliawaskan) is this year's graduate of the Dj-ing course, which she completed under the guidance of Michał Macewicz. She currently resides in Wrocław, where she has also had the opportunity to perform in local clubs such as Ciało, Transformator, and Wdech. Loves all kinds of heavier EDM, which incorporates elements of acid, trance, as well as old-school electro. In her mixes, she attaches the greatest importance to selection; she wants the listeners of her podcasts to feel like they're on a nighttime car journey amidst neon lights.

We have emerged from a little hibernation and are kicking off the new year with a rising talent from the UK: Glotzer!

Raised in Northern Italy and desecrated in East London, Glotzer’s sets span across EBM, Italo, Hi-NRG and landing into Industrial and Techno territories.  Equally obsessed with the new and classic, his dancefloor selections never exclude neon-like basslines with a scent of leather. 

Aspiring to revive the heyday of the Blitz Club and The Backstreet, Glotzer now runs the grotesque cross-genre party and collective Ziber. In between a leather bar, a derelict club, a candy shop and a house party, Ziber has been pinpointed as the ‘hottest new queer night’ in East London.

A long-time resident of Hong Kong, Byrne has traversed the darker corners of the city’s nightlife for the better part of the last decade, organising parties and holding residencies at venues such as Drop, Midnight & Co. and Oma. His time in Asia has seen him feature at some of the region's leading music events the likes of Clockenflap, Sónar and Quest to name a few. He currently runs @disco_for_the_damned, a monthly radio show that resides at FM Belowground showcasing dark electronic music from guests from all over the world. Most recently, Byrne has used the Disco for the Damned platform to establish amusic label under the same name. The label released its first compilation album in early 2024, featuring works from artists who have contributed to the show in the past.

No. 49 has just arrived from the depths of South America! Marble Twins is the project of Alex R. - live act, DJ and producer based in Colombia, piercing needles through E.B.M, New Beat and Dungeon Electronics. 

He's formerly known as SADXMAFIOSO and was 1/2 of Kontinent alongside Filmmaker. His previous work was released on labels like Body Musick, Soil Records, Pildoras Tapes and Clan Destine.

The Frankfurter jung’ has a huge repertoire of music and influences which he’s constantly sharing for the last 20 years. Brazilian born and Berlin based, @PatyVapor is a multifaceted artist known for her roles as DJ, curator and event producer. 
Co-founder of the female-focused event series 'Wisdom Tits & The Mad Express presents'. She is part of the Italian label-collective Slow Motion / Wrong Era, and Blum in her hometown Sao Paulo. Holding a residency at Sameheads, she regularly showcases her sound at the pinnacle of Berlin's venues, across Europe, and in Brazil, solo or as one half of the DJ duo ‘Wisdom Tits’ alongside Caillou.
Her sets evoke an old-school nostalgia of the ’80s, weaving through EBM, Electro, Synthpunk and Industrial, smoothly blending with Wave, Obscure Italo and Belgian New Beat. Desolate Discotheque (Hybrid set) - Heads Radio 144 - Acide Technotheka - 24.04.2024

Slimelight is the longest running dark scene club in the world, as well as one of the most recognised and respected events. The club was founded by Dette Marsh and Mayuan Mak in 1987, and has been located at its current venue “The Electrowerkz” since October of that year. 

Initially opening as a members only club with just one dance floor playing what was advertised as “the only alternative”, in reality this was a mix of goth, post punk, industrial, new wave, indie, alternative electronic, and crossover 80s music.

Over the years the club has adapted to the ever changing dark scene, and has expanded to include multiple dance floors and performances from live bands.
