Alieu Njie, The Florida born rapper known as I.U hails from Little Haiti In Miami. Clearly a star in the making, I.U decided that he would take his musical career to the next level while in high school. He cites his main influences "Rick Ross, Lil Wayne, Plies" and other local artists as the hip-hop artists he spent his youth listening to. Born in !990, to (father) Assan Njie and (mother) Cindy Bethel, I.U is well traveled and knows many cultures.
While going to school and honing his skills, I.U teamed up with Producer LiQ Brown and began to work on his first mix-tape. I.U eventually ended up signing with his present label 1 On One Entertainment. They went on to complete his debut mix-tape " It's Official" In 2013.
One year later, I.U is now working on his debut album " Money Talks" to be released in the summer of 2014. I.U is due to release his first single and video for his new album soon. By now I.U has really built up a reputation as the one to watch in rap and hip-hop.
I.U has continued to grow as a artist and he has been working hard with Executive Producers LiQ Brown And Jawbreaker. He hopes to sign a major deal in  the near future. Look out for "Money Talks" and all his songs in your favorite stores. I.U will not go quietly.
