Downplay is proud to welcome Melbourne producer BruvBruv to the label with his debut release ‘Club Music’.

‘SSL Channel Drip’ warms you up with atmospheric chords and sprightly percussion before unloading into a heavy breakbeat-focused club track that will test any soundsystem. Scatter-gun samples and oscillating bass remind of the Bingo-era of UK Garage and it’s all the better for it.

‘SM5weight’ takes another route, with sachharine R&B vocals chopped across bubbly bass with a classic 2-step groove driving the track along. Deceptive in it’s simplicity, as the percussion gets busier, so will your feet.

Label-mate Angus Green applies his trademark skill-set to the latter track, transforming it into a 4x4 banger, complete with 90s-era house bass stabs and jazzy chords for another win for one of the hottest names in UK Garage right now.

Born in September 1995 in the capital of Seville, Co-Founder of the Podcast "New Generation Breaks", focused on the promotion of new and young artists of the Breaks scene.
Santabeat begins its race in June of 2016, realizing sets with a clear style, predominating the present fresh sounds along with the most select 2Step / Garage.
In January of 2017 he is proclaimed winner of the Challenge organized by Dirty Break and months later nominated in the category best DJ Revelation 2017 by IBA, being finally in sixth position.

Santabeat comienza su carrera en junio de 2016, realizando sets con un estilo claro, predominando el sonido Breaks fresco actual junto con el mas selecto 2Step/UK Garage.
En Enero de 2017 es proclamado ganador del Reto organizado por Dirty Break y meses después nominado en la categoría mejor DJ Revelación 2017 por los IBA, quedando finalmente en sexta posición.
Ha actuado en grandes eventos y compartido cartel con grandes artistas de la talla de Lady Waks, Atomic Hooligan, Deekline, Deep Impact, DJ Mutiny, Freefall Collective, Specimen A, Control Z entre otros.
