At 19 year old, Kevin discovers Free Parties and finds himself into music.
That passion makes him buy his first vinyl turntables and then he starts organizing his first events.
He signs his first tracks made on vinyl with one of the renowned Hardtek European labels : Architek (FSL).
A few years later he starts mixing in the field of powerfull and dark music. His techno style mixs minimalism and groove. He signs with the label Electrovino records, which produces artists such as : Axel Karakasis, Matt Minimal, D'jamency, Lowkey & Kardinal, Digital Session, Inphasia...
His various experiences and discoveries into the musical universe during the last few years makes him an accomplished and eclectic artist.

C'est à ses 19 ans que Kevin découvre les free party et se passionne pour la musique électronique.
C'est cette passion qui le pousse à acheter ses premières platines vinyl et par la suite organise avec un groupe d'ami ses premières soirées. 
Il signe ces premières tracks au format vinyl sur l'un des labels Hardtek Européen du moment : Architek (FSL).
Quelques années plus tard, il se remet au mix avec un style résolument plus sombre et puissant. Il adopte un style techno liant minimalisme, ambiance et groove. Il signe sur le label Electrovino Records, qui produit des artistes tel que: Axel Karakasis, Matt Minimal, D’jamency, Lowkey & Kardinal, Digital Session, Inphasia...
Ses différentes expériences et découvertes dans le monde de la musique au cours de ces dernières années, font de lui un artiste éclectique et accompli.

David Gómez Artés ( slim mode ) was born in Mataró, a coastal city from Maresme, but has allways lived in a small town called Arenys de Munt.

He contacted with music since he was very young, in particular with classical music  because his father was a big fan of that kind of music.

While he was growing was feeling increasingly attracted by the world of mixtures and several styles of electronic music like techno or hard trance. He became a regular at major electronic music rooms at an early age, and slowly walked into de music world.

In 2003 he decides to buy his firsts ''technics'' to further his passion for electronic music  and introduce his self into the art of the vinyl. Soon he began to organize some events with friends in Maresme area.

In 2005 he forms the group "Stolen Beats" with Onem J. and start setting up "raves" in Maresme and Montseny area, until to have his first contact in a club, early 2006, when Slim won a Dj's of Hard techno contest in " Hipnotik tek club" (Calella) where the troughout the year he made several preformances.

At the end of 2006 Slim Mode takes a weekly residency at "Univers Disco" (Arbúcies); he was there more than a year, playing every friday, then took the local programming and begin to organize larger events with other groups and most renowned dj's.

In early 2007 he starts to play in other clubs of Catalonia, like "Vogue"(Igualada), "Sala Splash"(Tarragona) ,"Loops"(Ibiza), "Golfus"( Tarragona ), "Little Jungle" ( Mataró ), "Insomnis" ( Malgrat de Mar), "Sala 1800" ( Arenys de Mar), and other clubs of the area, coming to play in ''BLAU CLUB'' (Girona) doing the warm up to big artists like The Advent & Industrializer, among others. 

At the end of 2009 Slim decides to go further and take charge of a premises, the "LOST UNDERGROUND CLUB", a small disco in Arbúcies ( girona ), in this club he takes care of the programing and the parties of every weekend, until mid-2010. 

In July 2010 he decides start a new solo project, called "ANALOGUE MOVEMENT", quickly he begins to organize the "ADM FESTIVAL" in November 2010, with over 2.000 attendees. And by that way Slim begins to organize big events like " THE DRUM'N'WARS SAGA" the "OPEN AIR FESTIVAL" or the "ANALOGUE ANNIVERSARY".They managed to collect more than 8.000 people at Analogue parties in his first year of life, making Slim grow as a promoter.

To this day, he has shared the stage with big artists such as GAYLE SAN , THE ADVENT ,A.PAUL , EXIUM ,DOSEM , THE ADVENT & INDUSTRIALIZER LIVE! , JORIS VOORN ,REEKO , MARKO NASTIC MISSTRESS BARBARA, FRANK KVITTA , DJ LUKAS , CANDY COX , OBI ,FERNANDA MARTINS among others, playing in big clubs like "ROW 14" and "EL ROW SUNDAY MORNING" (BARCELONA), "FLORIDA 135" (FRAGA) or "BAUHAUS" (VIGO). Slim has begun to have contracts in Europe, thanks to Cubbo Bookings. He has been playing in BABY'O CLUB ( FURTENFELD-AUSTRIA ) or in SONARIS FESTIVAL ( JUDENBURG-AUSTRIA ), and has new projects for this year .

At present he is focused in musical production and in the music label AM.RECORDS where soon start coming new techno and deep techno references. Slim is also working within the music label DROME RECORDS.
