I'm addicted to trance music it's my passion and a massive part of my life!!

There's not a day that goes by, we're I have not listened to a trance set! i listen to trance mixes about 12 hours a day! as much as I'd love to comment on everyone's mixes, I can't. My soundcloud doesn't let me, but I will always like and share my instergram account. My favourite dj is craig connelly & my amazing & talented other half Rob Hamill ( give him a follow if you love your uplifting trance ). I love my classic trance and vocal uplifting trance!

Thanks for taking the time to visit my space and to read my bio.

My favourite genres include Progressive House, Peak Techno and Deep/Progressive Trance.  However I love all sorts from disco to tech house, deep techno and pumping trance anthems!

Any likes, shares or follows are much appreciate and encourage me to keep sharing my tunes for like-minded others.

I play the latest upfront tracks but still enjoy delving into the 90s and 00s classics too.  Take your pick from that era: Old Skool Hardcore, Trance, Hard House, Funky House, Vocal House and most of the other uplifting house and/or harder sub-genres.

I do my best to support those that give a little of it back too.  Feel free to drop me a message or add me via my other social links. James Black started DJing back in 1999 after his love of music began to take part in his social life. He has DJ'd across London (Ministry of Sound / Turnmills / 414 / Union @ Vauxhall / Queen of Hoxton / UCL Socials), Berkshire (House of Bamboo Residency / Dirty Beat Radio), Brighton (Tekbeat / Trickstar Radio / Code South FM / Decadance Radio / Concorde2/ The Volks/ Zahara / The Arch / Hideout / Sticky Mikes Frog Bar), Ibiza (Club Kancela) and Kent (Club Class / River Bar Resident/ Cohesion resident / Classic Beats resident) and presents 'Tekbeat' monthly on Brighton based dance station 'Decadance Radio' as well as a periodic Tekbeat podcast; available on Soundcloud, Mixcloud and iTunes.

 James' musical love stemmed from mid-90's dance music which lead into the Trance explosion of 1999-2003, since then James has played many styles of music to fit the needs of the venue and his own expression - Funky House, Techno, Trance, Hard House, Psy-Trance and even Heavy Metal, but he has found his home within the realms of Techno and Trance. James is a resident DJ for London Techno night 'Dark Matter,' which is a night held at Union in Vauxhall, and can be found popping up at events across the country as well as a regular figure in the livestreaming world.

 James Black is actively producing music under 'James Black Presents', with releases on Pure Trance, Nashwa, WeAreTrance, Lethal Shots, Create Music, Discover Records, Stick Up Music, Pure Dope Digital, Transportal, D-Day Recordings and D'amor, and has had support from Amber D, Dave Pearce, Lange, Marie Vaunt and Paul Van Dyk to name but a few.
