The Abnormal Normal

Danny has found himself stuck in an unfamiliar void. His surroundings are a thick white. All he possesses is a broken transistor. He doesn’t know where it came from or why he knows that it will get him home but he must fix it. He works perilously. Suddenly without warning, he is sucked into what can only be described as a worm hole. Traveling at incredible speeds he clutches tight to the transistor. Before him flash familiar images. A lifetime. In an instant. All there ever was. His own existence. He is awe struck. The only judge is himself. He leans in to touch the seemingly real images in front of him. He’s thrusted down. Falling into darkness. Thick and thicker. There’s no where to go. No where to see. Nothing. His decent becoming faster and colder. He grips the transistor even tighter. As he falls a figure shapes before him. He tries to focus. The figure is a person. There is only 1 person, he knows this. He can feel it. As he focuses on of the moving figure the face starts to shift and finally the focus is clear.  The person standing in judgment is himself. Illuminated and towering. A 3rd eye attached to its forehead. Eyes white. It's mouth opens. Fire pours from its lips surrounding Danny. There's no where to go. The flames touch his skin.  Danny, now knows what he must do. Bringing the transistor to his lips he screams with all his might. The impossible sound penetrates. A white light explodes from the transistor. It embodies the being. Washing away its flames. It embodies the dark. Turning all the black into bright light. It spins him. Like a whirling vortex he shoots up. Faster and faster. He is a tornado of speed. Love and light fuel him. He can feel the life returning to his being. All fear is residing. He sees God in the distance. He’s chasing toward him. Faster now. He is traveling faster then the speed of light. He approaches. As he does he reaches out to touch the Lord, dressed in all Light, the Lord reaches back. Before his fingertips can touch he awakens in the hospital bed. Back to reality. Back to the pain.
