For this episode, we welcome Amsterdam-based @guuschristian for an hour of deep, soulful, and uplifting dance music.
Rooted in the legacy of New York and Chicago, Guus blends organic sounds, live percussion, and rich melodies to create an emotional, human touch on the dancefloor. His sets are about connection across eras, genres, and people.
He’s played at venues like Doka, Skatecafe, and Down the Rabbit Hole, and co-runs Blauwdruk: a club night, label, and safe space for dancefloor lovers in Nijmegen. He’s also a familiar face at Marini Records, where he supports vinyl culture and DJs regularly.

Under the velvet drapes of the Peacock Club in the Rajasthan desert last December we celebrated 10 years both of Rhythm Section & Magnetic Fields. The whole experience really did feel like a dream, filled with the most wonderful colours, sounds & characters. Thank you to the dancers, the festival & all the folk involved in making this experience one of the most magical I’ve had to date. I hope some of this shines through in the recording.
