I thought a bit about my approach to this mix with him in mind, and channel some very deep sounds for this journey. The concept for this mix actually started off with a suggestion from a friend about working the a certain track into the fold somehow. We had both agreed it was a bookend type of track. Scottish producer & DJ Graeme Clark AKA @the-revenge releases his second album ‘When The Thrill Comes’ on his own @roargroove imprint on 11th May 2018 (double 12” and digital).

‘When The Thrill Comes’ is a demonstration of a producer achieving a point of maturity in their work, able to exercise a sense of restraint, to allow for their sound to have space. It is also the opportunity for The Revenge to explore his own electronic music roots with a deeper pared-back sound more in touch with his earliest production experiences in house and techno.

Here track 7, Another Illusion, reflects this sentiment wholeheartedly.
