Following on from the success of their debut release from offshoot vinyl label TDR LTD @tropicaldiscorecords offshoot  Volume 2 in the series of ‘Collectors Edition 12”s is just about to land. Again this hot 12” is a limited press of 350 copies on heavyweight 180gr vinyl packed in kraft outer covers and black inners and with some seriously nice little added extras it's most definitely a collectors piece.

The EP features three brilliant cuts from Paul Johnson, Soul Central and A Touch Of Jazz from the seriously talented Dominic Balchin. After 'Sentimental' his latest release on Nomada Records the exploration of harmonic dubs and the influence of disco has always been present on Nico's work. He comes now with a release in which repetition comes present in every song in which the song developed throughout without being obvious. Congas, shakers and a common vibrating rhodes fills up the EP named 'Dub Shaker'.

Steam its first track introduces the mood that will be present on the whole EP, making it a soft club song with an on going baseline, finishing with sweet vocals and pulsating horns. Follow up by “Can’t do my thing” a dub track with an on going guitar riff which develops frenzy in the club. And last but not least of the original tracks comes “Reflect' a definitely club track which translates in a fluctuating bass companied by sweet soul vocals and a romanticised rhodes piano. The EP includes an stunning remix by one of Nico's favourites Dicky Trisco, who never disappoints when it comes to baselines & disco. Enjoy Nico Saav's Steam EP.

Después de "Sentimental" su último lanzamiento en Nomada Records la exploración de las dubs armónicas y la influencia de disco siempre ha estado presente en el trabajo de Nico. Él viene ahora con un lanzamiento en el cual la repetición viene presente en cada canción en la cual se desarrolla a través sin ser obvia. Congas, shakers y un rhodes vibrante llena el EP titulado "Dub Shaker".

Steam su primera pista introduce el estado de ánimo que estará presente en todo el EP, convirtiéndolo en una canción de club suave con una línea de bajo en curso, terminando con una voz dulce y metales pulsantes. Seguido por "Can't Do My Thing" una pista de dub con un riff de guitarra en marcha que desarrolla frenesí en el club. Y por último pero no menos importante de las pistas originales viene "Reflect" definitivamente una pista de club que se traduce en un bajo flotante acompañado de voces de soul y un romántico piano rhodes. El EP incluye un remix impresionante de uno de los favoritos de Nico, Dicky Trisco, que nunca decepciona cuando se trata de baselines y disco

Premiere - The Silver Rider - What I Need

The new Outplay release is by young and upcoming dj/producer @cleanfieldmusic, or “Jelle” as his mom calls him. Hailing from Arnhem, the Netherlands, it’s always great to see another talent pop up in the Dutch scene! He has made three super catchy tracks for us, perfect for the summer season! 

First up is the title track “Haute Cuisine”, warm bouncy bass topped with a super infectious lead melody and percussion. If there is a track more suited for the festival season it’s this one for sure! 
“Hot Wheels” races on with a deep rolling groove, fuelled by wahwah rhythm guitars, warm synth chords and arpeggios. 
“Conflict With Clayton” brings another solid groove to the table with scattered vocal samples and multiple synth layers. Scorcher! 

So imagine dancing your ass off to this EP in the sun and feeling fantastic, we sure are!

Colombian production outfit, Vagabundo Club Social recently released alongside man-of-the-moment, Felipe Gordon, on NYC's champion label, Razor-N-Tape, plus have been remixed by the likes of Eddie C and had releases on Dicky Trisco's File Under Disco label. Here we find them on Whiskey Disco's sublabel Love Dancing with this gorgeous slice of daytime party vibes!
