Mark Hawkins 'Heartfelt'

French outfit Happiness Therapy continues its release schedule this September with a brand new EP from Glasgow-based Spanish artist @danbe_music. The four-tracker, aptly named Makes Me Happy, also features a collaboration with Portuguese talent @bernardomotapt

@y4collective head Dan Be is no stranger to the Happiness Therapy family. An accomplished producer, he first debuted on the label in 2021 via Happy House, Volume. 3, before appearing on the VA’s fourth edition later that year. Now, Makes Me Happy marks his first full-length feature on the imprint, continuing a highlight 2022 for the fast-emerging Spaniard.

After a brief hiatus, Chinese producer myni8hte returns to our imprint and to the realm of progressive with a colorful EP in Pastel Iridescence.

“Pastel Dream,” is that radiant bloom just above the horizon where the sun reflects a pastel palette in the morning sky. Soft sensual grooves, melodic arps, and piano plucks paint dreamy images along the atmospheric canvas. This EP also includes an Alternative Mix to “Pastel Dream,” which has more of a driving force behind its evocative, pastel-enriched morning glow. “Beyond Iridescence” is a punchy groove with reverberating basslines, piano stabs, and plenty of melodic motifs.
