Born and raised in Malmö, Sune is the owner of the top quality label Honey Butter Records and sub-label Mostly Cozy, and is a prolific producer with releases in labels such as Inhale Exhale, Apparel Music, Let's Play House, Poetry & Motion and many many others, with a total full 5 EP's and full length album on vinyl.  

The 30 year old has been DJing and throwing parties for over a decade, and has had the chance to play in cities like New York, Los Angeles, Washington, Portland, Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Amsterdam, London, Berlin, Copenhagen, Stockholm to name a few.

Victor Simonelli is New York house royalty. Born and musically-schooled in Brooklyn, Simonelli grew up in an era where disco was giving way to the new sound of house, and that dramatic intersection is where his heart and many of his great productions lie. He first made his name as a producer in the dying days of Nu Groove with Groove Committee’s “I Want You To Know” in 1991. But it was the release of Feel So Right by Solution, an international smash, that guaranteed an excess of airmiles DJing in Japan, Europe and beyond. Although it was as a house producer that Simonelli forged a reputation, his influences came more from the New Jersey sound detonated by Tony Humphries at Zanzibar whose bullets were supplied by Blaze, Smack and Paul Simpson.

Set recorded live at La Mona in November 2022 in the House room, which is the basement club at La Bellevilloise, Paris 20e.

One of the most promising acts to come out of the new French and European electronic scene, we’re pleased to welcome https://soundcloud.com/neue-grafik to our mix series.

With releases on the likes of Rhythm Section and CoOp, his distinct sound has rapidly garnered attention and recognition, locating him as a central figure in the new generation of break-beat artists. His music a clear product of both his roots and a wide-ranging palette of inspiration; in his music you can hear the sound of Paris (his home-town), its music and cultural legacy and the ethnic sounds of Africa.

With this offering to our mix series, those influences are clearly heard as well as reflecting a plethora of other sounds, dipping in and out of house, jazz and hip-hop. Foot-stomping, funky selections with a serious bump.

I have made no secret since LV online launched a couple of years ago that Fouk have been one of my favourite acts out there. Both members of Fouk, @junktionmusic and @danielleseman, are extremely talented producers so make sure that you check out their work both as Fouk and their under their own names,

Fouk make music which is undeniably cool but also with plenty of power for the dancefloor and grace for repeated listens. They have had stand out EP's on some of the finest labels out there including a long running partnership with Detroit Swindles brilliant Heist label. They are also behind the @Outplay label which has been has seen them curate some fantastic artist releases as well as regular 12's from Fouk, Daniel and Junktion.

They are just about to release a super 12" on their brand new 24 Carrot sub label simply titled #1. I've had a sneak preview and it's packed with dancefloor fire. Berlin based Spanish born producer @carlothings has built a strong following over the last few years through both his own releases and via his exciting label @aterralrecords which has recently released EP's from Black Loops and Lis Sarroca. 

His latest release the 'Mediterraneo EP', which lands this week on Aterral, is a serious collection of timeless house tracks fusing a number of styles to create four tracks which are high on drama and full of dancefloor nous.
