Juicebox Music's 68th release welcomes Anton Borin and Montw to the fold for their debut appearance with a 2-track EP featuring "Obsidian" and "Firebird". Kick-starting their collaboration fairly recently, the Moscow (Russia) based duo found a sweet spot to combine their styles. With individual releases on Mango's 'Mango Alley' and Bondarev's 'WARPP' to name a few, Anton Borin and Montw's hypnotic, melodic and groovy music has become a staple amongst many tastemakers and fans alike. Their latest offering is a pair of juxtaposed singles to showcase their creative sides; "Obsidian" features a strong drive leading up to a soulful melody only to be peaked by a contrasting twist in it's final phase while "Firebird" sees them focusing primarily on the development of a strong groove accompanied by a earworm riff, perfect for darker rooms. 

For the first remix, we're excited to welcome back Fabri Lopez to the label. The Villa Mercedes native from Argentina first made his debut on Juicebox Music through his powerful and euphoric remix of Bachir Salloum's "Of Time and Space" in early 2021. Since then, he's made strides with releases on Armen Miran's 'Hoomidaas' and Nick Warren's 'The Soundgarden' and now for his return, Fabri Lopez reworks Anton Borin and Montw's "Obsidian" into a monster with a more darker and heavier approach. 

Closing the pack is one of the label's core-artists, Bangalore (India) based Aman Anand. His journey with the imprint stretches far with so many significant releases with the latest being his collaboration with label-owner Praveen Achary on "Fiasco". Exploring through experimentation, Aman pursues an evolution in his sound with refinement and out-of-the-box sound-design as his key priorities. He takes on Anton Borin and Montw's "Firebird" with the same goal, injecting his signature groove and cleverly warping and contorting the original hook to deliver a memorable moment.

Now, following a remix of Rockka’s ‘Operator’ (via Mango Alley), Maze 28 makes a welcome debut on RKP with ‘This Is Just A Dream EP’, alongside remixes from Hernan Cattaneo & Marcelo Vasami and Fabri Lopez.

The title selection 'This Is Just A Dream' finds Maze 28 showcasing his dancefloor minded ethos. Its dominant drive is anchored by rocketing beats, phasing stabs and percussive flashes, tastefully building to a wild-eyed intensity of prismatic melodies and pyrotechnic designs. With a peak-time energy that exudes spirit, Maze 28 pulls from his expansive repertoire as the main break takes shape, infusing shimmering synths, hopeful pads and deconstructed vocals with a vortex of dynamic drums and orbiting effects; resulting in the ultimate dancefloor rush.
