A complex mix of sounds between arpeggios, textures and melodies on a forceful base that seeks that combination between the groove and the trip. A perfect track to light up the dance floor as we are used to.

"I was born in St. Petersburg, Russia, on July 30, 1987.
A born rebel and freedom fighter.
I started exploring the world when I learned to walk. At first I explored the streets of my neighborhood. When I was 4 years old, I took buses to neighboring neighborhoods. Then I expanded my geography by riding streetcars, electric trains, and subways. By age 9, I knew the whole city. When my parents tried to stop me, locked me up at home, or put me in daycare, I found a way to escape. I ran away whenever I was held back. And I was always drawn to music. I wanted to be a DJ. My parents told me I shouldn't do it, that it wasn't serious and I needed to study and work to support my family. I left my parents' house when I was 10 years old. Then I lived in different families and cities, went to different schools...
At the age of 14 I got a job in a nightclub. That was my first time behind the console. But it ended after 6 years, when I became the resident of Tunnel club (Underground club) from Saint-Petersburg. Then I remembered what my parents told me and I quit music.
Since then I can't find my place. I've been to a lot of countries. I worked at 40 companies in completely different fields ,manufacturing, sales, delivery....... Then I opened my own car business. But that didn't save my soul either.
Now I'm 35 years old. I gave up everything I had and went back to music.
Before I was looking for freedom and running, now freedom is inside of me, and I want to give it to people through my music. In my music I'm going to talk about what I saw and felt when I was looking for it, when I was surviving.
I'm trying my hand at different music genres.My music is about free feelings, free thoughts, free desires, free will and part of my story.

When i wrote this song I imagined myself driving in a convertible down a serpentine road along the Mediterranean Sea. In this difficult time in the world, I want to immerse myself in positive fantasies for at least six minutes."

Soviett Autumn 2022 (compiled & mixed by Ivan Starzev)

For the last Chrom release of 2022 we welcome back Dmitriy Shulgin on our label. Dmitriy made his Chrom debut 6 months ago on our "Chromologic X" Sampler under the alias 'Doppelganger'. His track "Contact" was heavily supported by Undercatt and became one of our biggest indie dance sellers on beatport this year.

So the next logical step is his own Chrom EP, this time under another new alias 'Do Magic', but in the same musical line. His EP is called "Hungry Corpse" and contains not less than 4 super catchy indie dance originals that will set every dancefloor on fire!
