"Kamai Music is pleased to welcome back Felipe Van Lagerback with a compelling three-track release. 

The EP opens with the title track "Ashei", a melodic house masterpiece featuring dry snare drums layered over a long, driving bassline. Vocal chops and synth arpeggios weave playfully with Felipe’s vocoder vocals, creating a powerful and immersive sound.

"Ochtenddauw" contrasts this with syncopation and a darker, grungier vibe, driven by an industrial break-beat rhythm and a deep bassline. Mellow pads, high-pitched arpeggios, and rhythmic vocal chops add texture and atmosphere.

Closing the EP, "Cime Nere" is a collaborartive effort with good friend Tal Groenman. The track builds ethereally with sustained dark basses and high-pitched leads. Distorted, filtered drums and trippy effects are layered with clean piano melodies, crafting the perfect sunrise vibe.

Originally from Italy and now based in Amsterdam, Felipe draws inspiration from his experiences living across different countries. These global influences shape his music, which es designed to move the body, open the heart, and engage the mind. His diverse catalogue reflects both his international roots and personal journey."

Neon Desert Fusion

Part of Amsterdam's new fresh faced school of techno and already affiliated with Rush Hour, Dekmantel, Tape Records, Voyage Direct – it's Interstellar Funk. His latest undertaking and his first on the Rush Hour label, Electric Park Square, brings six tracks of mystical machine sounds that revel in their sensibility. It's essentially computer music with a soul. "Cable 54" opens the EP with a retrospective take on early Detroit techno. Interstellar Funk crafts squelchy, acid-inflected patterns on the 303 and mysterious synth melodies on a track that could blend in virtually unnoticed on one of Cybotron's first releases from the early eighties.

Those familiar with the world of dub disco and modern Balearica should know all about Layne Fox, a San Francisco-based producer who has released some killer records over the last decade as part of noted collective 40 Thieves.

The Bay Area ensemble has been responsible for some killer records, including gems on Rong Music and Leng, who released their expansive debut album The Sky Is Yours back in 2014.

Now, Fox has decided to go it alone for an outing on Magic Feet that marks his first solo outing since 2005’s Move Me under the Tuffy alias. It’s something of a gem, too, effortlessly combining many of his familiar influences with nods towards druggy Italo-disco and horizontal pop.

Fox delivers two contrasting versions of No Runnin’ Away. There’s a Vocal Mix, where Sunny’s icy, atmospheric voice drifts over a chugging mid-tempo groove built around a Moroder-style bassline, swirling electronics, dreamy chords and metronomic beats. Typically, Fox also provides a tasty Dub, where select vocal snippets drift in an out of a delay and reverb heavy mix that also gives increased prominence to his stretched-out synths and late night electronics.

Magic Feet boss Craig Bratley handles remix duties himself, offering a complimentary but notably different interpretation. His version subtly emphasizes the track’s downbeat pop credentials, pushing the vocal to the fore above a sparse electro groove, dreamy pads and flashes of acid-inspired electronics. Think Cold Wave vibes but with actual production values, not pretend ‘mastered on cassette’. It’s the perfect accompaniment to Fox’s hypnotic, head-in-the-clouds original.

Milan’s Brioski returns to Slow Motion for his first sole record following his appearance on the Italian Dance Wave compilation. Onertolati is four tracks of tweaked-out disco madness, off-kilter rhythms and electronic brain flutters. It’s kind of like being stuck inside a particularly sexy ECG machine. After two solo releases on Lovefinger’s ESP Insitute, and two more 12” as Greenvision (his collaborative project with Trent) Juan Ramos graces Berlin’s Cocktail d’Amore Music with a new outstanding EP.  “Incorporeality” and “Liquid Sky Drone” are both vibrant, hallucinating, trance inducing tracks. Full-on sonic layering and unexpected drum patterns compose these two bangers. Multidimensional is the right term to describe Ramos’ music. His futuristic approach, yet full of references from the past, is gaining a strong reputation within the contemporary electronic scene.  Melbourne-Berlin based Kris Baha is on remix duties. “Liquid Sky Drone” becomes an industrial ballad - cinematic and romantic, at the same time bouncing and synthetic. Jorkes collaborate with Hard Ton to release a sensual single on their Freeride Millenium imprint including remixes from Massimiliano Pagliara, Soulphiction and his alias Jackmate. 
 Taking inspiration from a vast musical sphere, the Munich-Vienna pair Jorkes are widely recognised for their open-minded and passionate approach to electronic music which is translated through their Freeride Millenium imprint and own unique productions. ‘Cross The Line’ will be the duo’s first outing since 2016 seeing them join up with the Italian pair Hard Ton who are known for releases on Wonder Stories, Luv Shack Records, Toy Tonics and many more. Jorkes invite Live At Robert Johnson artist Massimiliano Pagliara and Philpot founder Soulphiction aka Jackmate for remix duties which tops off this distinctive release highlighting the openness and sensibility of their musical philosophy. 
 ‘Cross The Line’ begins the EP with alleviating pads balanced harmoniously with alluring, heart-warming vocals and gentle keys drifting throughout before Massimiliano Pagliara delivers an infectious remix focusing on hypnotic bass grooves, effervescent drums and undulating pads fluttering naturally with the stirring modulations. 
 ‘Jackmate’s Dub Mix’ deploys low-riding resonations fused with muffled tones and thrilling, shuffling rhythms within whereas ‘Jackmate’s 90s Mix’ focuses heavily on organic percussion rolling throughout with robust musical elements and looping vocals. Soulphiction’s ’Dub Mix’ completes the pack with a tranquil take on the original laying focus on funk-infused instrumentals and subdued jazz drums keeping the atmosphere smooth yet enticing.
