Melodiesinfonie's music has been inspiring thousands of music lovers the past couple of years. He makes a clear statement of positivity with a sound which is nostalgic and very modern at the same time. He is all about spreading love and freeing spirits and he lets the music do the talking, because his beats speak for themselves as for his playful and pure approach to music. 
We are very excited and proud to present Melodiesinfonies not only first release on Boyoom Connective, but also his Debut Album available as a hard copy for all the vinyl lovers. "Friede Freude" which translates with "peace and joy" is a statement of a young talented musician who proves once again that a cheerful mind can create awesome music that will cheer up even the grumpiest soul.

2015 has started so great for Kiwi Time. We just came back from The 57th Grammy awards and feel very blessed to live in such a beautiful country as the US.
 Valentine’s day is approaching very soon and we want to share our gift with all lovers and beautiful people (beautiful inside and out).
 The song "Everybody Needs Love" was born a year ago around the time of the Winter Olympic Games in Sochi.
 As you may have heard at that time, the Russian LGBT community has experienced harsh treatment from the Russian government, police and from a large number of the Russian people. 
 Even though we are from Belarus, we feel great empathy and want to raise our voice in awareness of human rights around the globe. 
 We all were born equal and unique. And instead of focusing on our differences, we want to concentrate our attention on what we have in common and what unites us. 
 Love is what will ultimately save us all.
 Care about the people around you and share the song with someone who needs love right now. Let's make this world a beautiful place for EVERYONE to live!

This new cut from Daymé Arocena - a re-imagining of Peven Everett's dancefloor shaker 'Stuck' - comes from her new One Takes EP. The EP finds Daymé Arocena bouncing around ideas with label boss Gilles Peterson & co-producer Simbad to put her unique spin on five different covers. Re-imagining cuts ranging from Italian obscurities to US house heroes, the sessions (as you might guess from the title) were about taking down whichever ideas came first. Working in a tradition of covers that's long been ingrained in jazz as well as Latin music, One Takes finds them taking that approach and running with it.

It's a perfect vehicle for Daymé to bridge musical worlds in a way that's always come naturally. With an upbringing split between classical training, early jazz greats like Billie Holiday and the spiritual and musical foundations of the Santería religion, she's grown up seeing the bigger picture. 

Daymé Arocena - Stuck

"Calling You" leans heavily on excerpts from Answering Service's classic "Mr. Telephone Man", but The Shooters knits it into a brand new sweater, with added beefyness, lush strings and acid-lines, turning out a hypnotic neo-acid chicago-stomper from this good old disco-groover.

N.O.I.A. - Looking For Love (Ajello Version)

As Ajello say:
“The idea for a cover version of N.O.I.A. The Rule To Survive (Looking For Love)was born a couple of years ago – an idea of Alessandro Piatto, younger brother of Davide Piatto, original member of N.O.I.A. As soon as Alessandro proposed it, we asked whether we could have the original tracks but, unfortunately, they have been lost over the years. Immediately his brother Davide brought together the original lineup of N.O.I.A. and locked them up in the studio to record the voice from scratch and some of the synth parts. Our intervention was first on the drums, replacing the original for a more uptempo beat, and then the bassline, shaping it to a more modern sound. The vocals were treated with filters and echoes, and we also added some new guitar parts and synth lines. It was an honour to us, Ajello, to bring to light an Italo-disco classic that has really influenced us and we have put all our efforts to create a version that is timeless, as much as the original. "

The name ‘Appennini’ comes from the Italian mountains that split the country into two parts, but at the same time links Rome and Chieti where Rodion and Mammarella are from. The duo have an extensive collection of analog equipment which they have used to create the collection of tracks ranging from classic Roland Juno, Jupiter and Moog synthesizers, Oberheim & Veroma drum machines through to Roland Space Echo and Moogerfooger FX Units.

‘Escape From Kyoto’ opens the release, incorporating worldly percussion, a staggering arpeggiated bass hook and trippy lo-fi sonic tones creating a raw energetic movement. Subtle filter-modulation on the atmospheric elements make for a vacillating flow throughout the composition, while 80’s style synthesizers are worked in to the break giving off an effortlessly cool retro vibe. The vintage feel is further brought to fruition by working back in the rugged arp-line in combination with a vocoded spoken-word, further fuelling the old school aesthetic.

The ‘Alien Alien Dub’ version of ‘Escape From Kyoto’ strips back the more upfront feel of the original, giving off a slo-mo semblance. Intricate placements of big room reverb bursts and precise delays create an astonishing background depth. Bright synth stabs create a rolling melody, driving the track and invariably fluttering in pitch, to create an intense evolving feel.

Rodion & Mammarella are heavily inspired by the sounds of Giorgio Moroder, Black Devil Disco Club, their beautiful surroundings and fine wine, this is portrayed beautifully through their tasteful disco music with class and intensity.
