CARGO Recording is a project initiated by the IBOAT’s team in Bordeaux. It supports artists through various tools such as a label, artistic residencies, workshops, publishing, professional accompaniment and visual arts. 

Submarine Club Vol.1 is the culmination of an artistic project and an accomplished vision of contemporary electronic music. In this first volume, 12 artists deliver their audio definition of the IBOAT Club and submarine dance. May this compilation bring you the dance and pleasure that club culture has given us for so many years.

Common Thread has been a label to follow since the very beginning for us. First ep by Black Merlin was featured in Humangigz (one of 3 LYO members) LYO#025 mix and we played and still play Will Flisk "Silent Running" frequently in clubs. This sixth outing by "Identified Patient" remains mysterious. Who's this producer ? A newcomer or an established player hidden under another new moniker ?! Who cares, it rocks ! This four tracker is made of devastating slow acid twisted burners. Think Gesloten Cirkel but more deviant and definitely slower. The monsters are leaving the dirty hospital next week, watchout !

The sixth instalment of Slow Motion’s retro-futuristic international-sister label is the debut release of mysterious Russian producer Fakundo. This record sits at the heavier end of our musical spectrum and is brimming with hard-hitting electro swagger that conjures up a dystopian video-game underworld, the best bits of Alien Sex Fiend and comes atop a whole bunch of wobbly baselines.
