Kostantyn Isaev the man behind the project Volta Cab and also Rambal Cochet is now part of the Waste Editions family. The St. Petesburg's colorful artist has just recorded 6 catchy and powerful tunes which are heavily influenced by the new wave/post punk music of the late 80's , especially by bands like Кино (Kino) and the Soviet space disco as well.

All tracks produced by Konstantin Isaev in Saint Petersburg  (2018 - 2020).

Mexican imprint Duro have announced the seventh edition of its beloved ‘Muy Duro’ series. This time we are glad to present an acid collaboration between masters Dominik Marz and Radial Gaze. We welcome Bruce The Bat Person and Heidenreich to the label. A heavy collaboration of two in-house artists, Macaulay & Undefined Pattern. Closing the compilation are skilled Nick Hanzo teaming up with A-Tweed.
The opener is Dominik Marz & Radial Gaze’s “Trans”, an acid journey with metallic percussions, distant murmurs and edgy synthesizers. Following up is Bruce The Bat Person’s “Roboteca Salvaje”, a wild and late cut, where the tenacious drums blend with programmed melodies and synthetic voices.
Heidenreich, the artist behind "Neuruppin Trance", brings to the label a spiraling and endless drop with his powerful cut. His playful percussion and delirious arpeggios will make you not want to stop moving.
Up next is Macaulay & Undefined Pattern's "Ceniza & Miel", a shattering dancefloor cut. Its rumbling bass reminds us of the roar of the old days machines, while its sweet and ruined melody wraps you in a lovable and rotten silk.
Rounding up the compilation is Nick Hanzo & A-Tweed’s “Andcister”, a track with distorted bass, twisted and modulated percussions, liquid synthesizers and distant sonars.

This is the first record on Slow Motion’s sister label, Wrong Era.
Wrong Era takes the name from our monthly Berlin party and has a focus on international artists who are dealing in all things electronic and discoid. The first release comes courtesy of Kruton aka Milo Smee (Bintus, Power Vacuum), who brings four tracks of mechanical funk and tweaking disco. Included in the package is his remix of Friction by Gold Blood, a track that has long been a secret weapon for a few select DJ’s. Today had been tiresome, each second feeling more like an hour. Within the four walls of her diamond white room she sat and waited. For what, she didn't know. All she ever did was wait. Alone in this space with nothing but her thoughts; nothing to focus her attention on except her hopes and her dreams, her successes and her failures. She watched the rain trickle slowly down the window, creating thick trails on the glass. Her eyes begin to swell with tears, running down her face as if in unison with the rain on the window outside. She couldn't pretend to be happy anymore. She would no longer conform.

To inaugurate her new label Microdosing, French producer Julienne Dessagne aka Fantastic Twins, has enlisted some of her close friends to be part of the first volume, which takes the same name as the label. Julienne hails the imprint as 'a collective experiment aimed at helping you fighting back your modern obsession with happiness.' The release features tracks from a talented bunch of producers, including Manfredas, Smagghe & Cross, Autarkic, Naum Gabo and, of course, Julienne herself. Our premiere from Naum Gabo, the project of Optimo's Jonnie Wilkes and mastering engineer James Savage, is where "sound, geometry and colour spell F R E E D O M.

As head of Italian (centric) Slow Motion label and through his own productions and remixes, Franz Scala has been pioneering the retro-futuristic aesthetic of club culture weaving together elements of proto-house, wave and Italo for the nuovo contemporary dancefloor long before it's current vogue. Now alongside Bordello A Parigi, and supported by Sameheads, Slow Motion presents Scala's euphoric debut LP Mondo Della Notte. 
A homage to the world of the night where Franz plies his trade. Solid production and understanding of the various references informing the contemporary dancefloor imbues this set with a quality of permanence. Each track clocks-in at around the seven minute mark accommodating all Scala's retro influences providing the space for walls of sounds to expand and unfold along these infectious rhythm voyages. 
It is a tribute to Franz's careful, attentive approach to his love of music that, for the first time, after a decade running Slow Motion, he finally releases his own productions through his own label. Mondo Della Notte, a collection of contemporary mutations grounded in previous era's, is the culmination and testimony to his artisanal dedication to his own creative output and his obsessive enthusiasm for what moves the dancefloor.
