Head of Samo records, one of the fav friend records of Hard Fist and promoter of the infamous "Samo Nights" where all the finest underground artists play in New York, Facets comes to New York from London and Belgrade, with a passion for all things leftfield, electro, techno, acid, new beat, italo, balearic, and beyond.

For his first appearence in the Hard Fist family, he offers a bombastic edit of the wonderful "Lake Of Sens" EP release by German duo Tribantura in 1988. It was the only original records from those 2 talented guys which deserved to be re-edited into a proper techno/EBM way, it's now perfectly done! Enjoy

He has been part of glitterballnyc.com since its inception, a website showcasing electronic music in NYC. Founder of Samo Records and the club night associated with the label called Samo Nights. 

Samo Records, a New York-based label exploring the darker, moodier side of electronic music. Facets hosts a radio show at The Lot Radio which has included artists that were hosted at the label related parties and/or previous releases. 

Over the years Facets has been releasing edits on his personal channel and other outlets such as Calypso's 12" edits Correcciones series, whypeopledance's MATERIA, 44.100hz Social Club and Deep House Amsterdam.

Exclusive: Jac The Disco - Goddess (Juan MacLean Remix)

Londoner Jac The Disco returns to his co-run label Spin On This to deliver his second EP, Manglik, which comes with two original tracks as well as remix works from Eric Duncan and Juan MacLean. The latter has recently had EPs on Jennifer Cardini's Correspondant imprint and Will Saul's Aus Music, a track on the latest Motordiscs various artists compilation and is going to release a couple of well-selected remixes, one of these is his take on Jac The Disco's track Goddess, which the New Yorker turns to a divine Disco driven dance floor-designed piece. Not only driven by a lush bass line it's Juan MacLeans array of synths the smoothly implemented glitches and the reluctant Acid-sounds, the cosmic and spaced-out vibe that make his approach to the track a pleasant experience for a wild (home)floor blast. 

Jac The Disco's EP Manglik will be released on Spin On This on July 3rd, 2020.

Friends, it is time for a finish. Here’s the seventh and last chapter of the festivities that we put together for our 50th catalogue number. Once again, the mighty graphics wizards Doppeldenk from Leipzig provided us with a delightfull artwork. And once again, you’ll get a record that sports a kaleidoscope of dance music from Uncanny Valley veterans and newcomers. This time with the emphasis on bright and positive timbres which can be associated with the colour yellow.

Cuthead starts things with a bang and his PARTY CHORDS set the tone perfectly (including neck pain after nodding your head to the beat like there’s no tomorrow). If chords could be president this would get a lot of votes.
