First Snow of The Year is the 
ambient music alias of 
Antwerp-based composer Erik 
Sevenans. The project started 
during the winter of 2017 in 
Munich. Originally, the 
recordings were made to be his 
own private soundtracks for 
when reading novels. In 2022 
the artist started releasing work 
after growing organically for 
several years.

Andrea Morana is Runaway Horses, from Pisa, Italy. I've been making music since I was 12, ranging from various genres such as Trip Hop, IDM, lo-fi music. I'm now mostly focused on experimental ambient music, sometimes adding a distinct electronic flavour with glitchy drum machines twist.
Surprisingly, horses are my favorite animal.

Andrew Land is a multi-instrumentalist, producer and composer, born and raised in Yorkshire and currently based in the Midlands, UK.

Classically trained through his youth, Andrew initially moved away from his classical training to focus on self-taught more contemporary music, before ultimately combining the two to form the works heard today.

Debut single, Mediation, was released in December 2020, and is taken from forthcoming album, Relevant Matters, due early 2021. Invoking the likes of Ólafur Arnalds, Janus Ramussen, and Jon Hopkins , Land's sound straddles a Venn diagram where ambient, electronic and neo-classical music meet, bringing through elements of each without ever totally resting in one single genre.

Working alone, Land has crafted his sound from many hours of experimentation with both analogue and digital instruments. His tracks often embody the ethos of the ambient genre, while rarely being truly ambient. The presence of a beat often precluding strict assignment to this genre. Similarly his use of piano and strings is often not strictly neo-classical, with the ambient and electronic elements always tugging the sound back across the dividing lines between a single genre.

2021 promises to be a big year for Land, with forthcoming singles and debut album already slated for release early in the year, and an expanding catalogue of work being constantly being prepared to follow this up and keep momentum about this exciting new artist growing.

The organic sound of Infralyd is the result of a daydreaming mind attracted to calm and beautiful things. A traditional Scandinavian upbringing alongside a deep fascination with natural phenomena and a tendency to linger in his thoughts are key aspects of Infralyd’s universe. All this coalesces into music that is melancholic and atmospheric while conveying a sense of familiarity and comfort.
