Next Expresso stop is on the tropical shores of  @desert-island-disco , a Selector/Producer collective based out of London and Barcelona, with a thirst for unearthing groove-laden digs from across the world. Though Disco in a name, their sound covers a broad church that moves between and beyond the likes of African Bubblegum, Brazilian Soca, European Synthpop, and UK Street Soul. 


In addition to producing original tracks and dancefloor-friendly edits, DID host the “Islander Cast” guest mix series, which brings together artists from across the globe to share the rare, exotic and undiscovered side of their record collections. Drawing from this mantra, the guys deliver us a zesty cocktail of trans-continental heat to usher in the warm shoots of spring…

Rocket Radio Espresso #014 w/ Desert Island Disco

Slow Fire Disco Machine is the alias behind Andrea Carassai and Giacomo Fiorani. Their friendship behind the decks started as Polyphonic, then became quickly something different giving birth to Slow Fire Disco Machine, an entity exploring sounds from the world with no restriction of genre, with eyes (and ears) to groove and good vibes.
When they're not digging or djing, SFDM runs a YouTube Channel where  they upload their finds  & edits.
They also curate the "Espresso"  monthly show on Rocket Radio Milano, where they often invite friends from all over the world
