It's taken us a little while to fully process what happened on Sunday but now we've had the time to recover from the madness that is Fusion Festival (you too, we hope??) we're realising just how much this gig meant to us and how happy we are with how it all went. Thank you to everyone who was there, who waited the extra 40 minutes while we battled with some technical difficulties, who cheered, sang our lyrics (wait, what?!) and danced with us. You were so supportive and after the first couple of songs the nervousness was almost gone and we could just enjoy sharing what we love together with you all. THANK YOU! You peeps are just great. <3

So, without further ado, here's our live set on the Velvet Soup stage at Fusion on Sunday night. Unfortunately the quality of the recording isn't great (where's the bass?!?), and we actually had to re-record a couple of parts at home due to an issue with the accordion microphone picking up the sound coming from the speakers, but we tried our best to play it exactly like we did on the night and blend it in smoothly with the original recording.  We are proud and happy and we hope you like it!

Servus und guten Morgen liebste Dauntempoworld! :) 
Damit der Start ins Wochenende schön leicht fällt, werden wir einmal ein wenig dem Vergangenen nachträumen. Wir haben nämlich nen Mitschnitt der liebsten @truenaturemusic vom Skalar-Festival '24 ergattert, bei dem die Federn schon einmal ganzschön aufgewirbelt wurden (in langsamer Manie versteht sich). Also wie immer: Schnell raus aus den Federn, Kaffee her und Boxen aufdrehen.

1. Wie sieht deine Morgenroutine aus, falls du eine hast?
Yoga oder stretchen, um auf der Erde anzukommen.

2. Hast du ein musikalisches guilty-pleasure? 
Haha, auch wenn ich das Konzept ablehne, würde ich sagen Believer von Aurora (Original: Imagine Dragons).

3. In welchem Genre warst du als Teenie zuhause?
Es war eine wilde Reise. Bis ich ungefähr 16 war, war ich hauptsächlich in Punk- und Metalkreisen. Allerdings hab ich mich eher im Grunge, HipHop und mehr und mehr in Indie und Pop Zuhause gefühlt. Elektronische Musik habe ich tatsächlich erst mit Anfang bis Mitte 20 für ich entdeckt, dann direkt per deep dive♡

How Luukorii creates his mixes...
"First, I create a new Folder with the name of that Podcast. Then, I listen, listen, listen to a lot of music over weeks (which I am doing all over the year anyway :D - Music is just the best recipe to express feelings and emotions).

While I am listening I am saving the tracks that I think fit the general mood that I want to express in that Podcast-Series. I repeat and repeat listening to the selected tracks, sometimes there are more tracks emerge out of nowhere and find their way into the named Folder... and then time after time I start deselecting tracks. At the end there are usually around 30-40 Tracks out of more than 100 Tracks left that I finally buy. (I am really happy that there are so many great artists out there that are eager to produce new stuff all the time). Finally, I can say that I understand every track like a piece of puzzle. Some pieces are immediately set while I was first listening to them. Other will find their gap :D"

"I really love the organic way of mixing. Trying to mix Tracks at least 1 minute into one and another creates in my opinion wonderful Flows that make a great journey so to say. And honestly it is one of the greatest feelings in mixing when one track ends at that point when the other track really starts kicking in. :)"

I think that the Downtempo Community ever since started to become more and more known amongst electronic-music-loving-people. I am really thankful that I can enrich their Podcast-Series with my Edition.
