We are proud to present you our 24th Kollektiv.Liebe. EP 

This time the producer duo Tisko from Hamburg sent us this beautiful EP including two awesome remixes by Oberheimer and Warte:mal.
Tisko brings bunches of electronic play toys and a variety of melodies which are celebrated with ordinary serenty and a lot of punch. We are more than happy to bring out this  really enchanting EP and we hope that the music will make you dance where ever you are.

Sea-Watch e.V. is a non-profit organization that conducts civil search and rescue operations in the Central Med. In the presence of the humanitarian crisis, Sea-Watch provides emergency relief capacities, demands and pushes for rescue operations by the european institutions and stands up publicly for legal escape routes.

At the end of January 2020, Sea-Watch and the coalition United4Rescue, led by the Protestant Church in Germany, were able to purchase the former research vessel “Poseidon”, which was renamed Sea-Watch 4. The purchase was made possible thanks to many organisations and individuals who support the coalition project #WirSchickenEinSchiff (#WeAreSendingAShip) and donated to the purchase of the ship.

Born in the dark streets of Cairo, grown to the unforgettable forests of Santa Esmeralda, spending its teen years in Bombay and Tangier markets, mature into the deep spacey Jungle of Ghana we proudly present you a new label from the land of the pyramids: SHANGO RECORDS invites you to an unheard world music psychedelic trip: like through a colorful kaleidoscope we will melt down Indian and Pakistani Vibes, Arab-Tek and Oriental groovy vibes, Afro-Beat rhythms n' pieces, Cumbia Tropicana flavors and cosmic Ghetto-Latin vibes into forbidden sounds of frenzied electronic dancefloor rituals. Outside traditional paths these driving grooves and polyphonic structures take the adventure seeking dancer to Dionysian highs and places never been before.

We went upstairs, through period bedrooms swathed in rose and lavender silk and vivid with new flowers, through dressing rooms and poolrooms, and bathrooms with sunken baths—intruding into one chamber where a dishevelled man in pajamas was doing liver exercises on the floor. It was Mr. Klipspringer, the ‘boarder.’ I had seen him wandering hungrily about the beach that morning. Finally we came to his own apartment, a bedroom and a bath and an Adam study, where we sat down and drank a glass of some Chartreuse he took from a cupboard in the wall. He hadn’t once ceased looking at her and I think he revalued everything in his house according to the measure of response it drew from her well-loved eyes. Sometimes, too, he stared around at his possessions in a dazed way as though in her actual and astounding presence none of it was any longer real. Once he nearly toppled down a flight of stairs. Ka:lu is the man of late evening dreams and late afternoon tales. This is his first offering for Shango Records. These two tracks can bring warm to every cold heart. Lakuru, Mondocane, Akimbo and Santiago Bohmer drinking red wine and tell stories about late evening romance.

There are some new most finest scotish imprint's signals beaming in from somewhere out there looking for your welcoming ears.
Leeds-based Ben Lewis aka UFO Club provide the latest Invisible, Inc. EP 'Runa' featuring a remix by the incredibly dynamic DJ Black Low from South Africa who's amapiano style dance sounds compliment UFO Club's bass heavy melodic minimalism perfectly.

The music of 'Runa' EP itself was created on mostly analogue gear:
"Smoke & Fluff and Is It Like A Ghost were created in the edenic rural idyll of South Northants using only a Behringer Neutron, with the sounds being created, recorded and layered up one at a time. Tribe of Visions was made back in Leeds, also only using analogue synths (Neutron, Behringer Model D) and drum machines (Vermona DRM1 Mk3) and cranky old outboard fx units (Lexicon LXP-1, Alesis Quadraverb - I like Spacemen 3 records where they list the equipment used).... plus my guitar." - Ben Lewis. DJ Black Low is also one to watch and we're honoured to have him on board for this release. His remix morphs samples from the original into his trademark amapiano style afro-dancehall.

PREMIERE: UFO Club - 4 Tribe Of Visions [Invisible Inc]

Eigentlich wollten wir mit Grischka Heimrath (Journey to Tarab) über die kreative und organisatorische Arbeit beim Zwischennutzungsprojekt “Zukunftshof” in den Outskirts des Zehnten Wiener Gemeindebezirks und dem dazugehörigen Clubkultur-Projekt “Kosmos Kuriosum” sprechen. Haben wir auch, aber das Gespräch uferte dem Projektrahmen gemäß aus. Wie viele unbezahlte Wochenstunden bedeutet so eine Unternehmung, mit dem sich die Stadt Wien gerne als nachhaltig wachsend inszeniert? Auf welche Hürden stößt man beim Veranstalten in Wien, vor allem in Open-Air- und Off-Locations? Was ist überhaupt die Motivation für ein solches Projekt, wenn man ohnehin früher oder später (Spoiler: eher früher) wieder rausmuss. Und machen sich es die beteiligten Kollektive mit dieser Bespielung nicht etwas leicht, wäre es doch für die gesamte Wiener Szene zielführender, an gemeinsamer, kräftegebündelter Aktion zu arbeiten und Platz und Finanzierung von der Stadt einzufordern? 

Und nicht zuletzt: Was erwartet uns in der nächsten Saison des Kosmos Kuriosum und wann beginnt sie?
