This track is more of a tech demo of what you can do with sample manipulation in LSDJ. The entirety of the bassline was done by manipulating the samples that came with LSDJ right in the application itself. The main downside of this though is that the notes you can make with this is very limited and it's out of tune with everything else. I think I might come back to this track later when I install a variable clock mod on one of my GameBoys so I can get the bassline in tune and then sync it with another GameBoy for a melody.

I enjoyed working with klystrack, which I only ever released a song in once in an OHB. I have always wanted to do a major entry with it as it's pretty powerful of a tracker even if the learning curve is pretty bad. It's super fun workin with my good friend GoldenDenis also known as dhg2 also known as dusthillguy. As usual he had a lot of nice ideas to add on. At first I thought I kinda ruined his idea with the oh my gosh stuff, but we both managed to make it sound EPIC in my humble opinion. I really recommend anybody reading this to watch Gabriel Dropout and also read the manga as it's really good and funny and cute.

It was a fun challenge working with klystrack, and I had of fun working on this song. Klystrack is interesting, it has a lot of strange quirks and a wonky user interface but also a lot of cool features. I'm also really glad to have had the opportunity to write a song with Robyn again. We were going for a kind of 'expanded SNES' kind of sound. I guess this song is basically like if the snes had more sample memory, like 128KB instead of 64. Kind of like a Super Super NES.

We limited it to 8 channels and used Retro Dream Verb for reverb. Most of the samples are from SNES games.
