Sounds like a lost demo from late 60s-early 70s by a psychedelic blues rock band. An odd one out in the playlist and an interesting on at that, congratulations (especially for the emphasis put on playing real instruments instead of VSTs)!

reminds me of an artist called Jack Dangers, or perhaps some of David Holmes stuff

This is my contribution to OOOSC03. I had a lot of fun to use a few instruments that I don't normally use! Don't be stingy with suggestions for improvement! ;)  

I used a couple of Kontakt guitars and a bass and then ran them through Guitar Rig 6. Voices are from Emvoice.

I used the drumloop as it was - and played the guitar/bass along with it. Forming the riffs around the drum hits.

Guitar: £10 lightweight chipboard strat copy I labelled "Bender" rather than "Fender" (it has light strings). 

Bass: Gear4Music 5 string semi acoustic bass.

Korg AX1500G guitar pedal.

Vocals: me (SM58 mic)
