Dr. Zee leaned back slowly in his battered leather chair. In front of him was a large desk made of some kind of reclaimed metal, littered with documents most of which had long passed their usefulness. The wall ahead was constructed of a translucent material allowing him to observe the “majesty” of Gastropodia Prime. The unfortunate home world of the GasPod’s had once been a verdant and varied landscape, with an equally varied selection of inhabitants. These days it was a acrid rock covered with rolling clouds of luminous pollution.

Infusing hip-hop rhythmic fundamentals and outright devilish sound design, Kromuh unleashes the street-smart Shadow Terra. The Chicago-based producer excels in balancing bass weight and intuitive grooves, coming this time with three original tracks plus a collaboration with fellow neuronaut VCTRE. This music can be enjoyed any number of ways. It’s smooth, letting the listener rock back and forth with grace. But it’s also sharp, encouraging the heads to dig into the precise sound design. 

Kromuh didn’t always produce filthy, hip-hop driven bass music. He first cut his teeth on funkier sounds. But once he began dabbling in the darkness, he truly honed in on a specific rude man sound and has elevated it ever since. Shadow Terra represents the next great leap in this journey. Every song slams the frequency spectrum with jagged cuts and pocket percussion serenades, turning otherwise smooth hip-hop rhythms into dance floor carnage.

Pixelblitz calls up on the influences of KOAN Sound, Tipper and other glitch-hop greats. If someone asked the creator what sort of vision birthed the beginnings of this song, he would ask you to imagine that you've been thrown into a vortex which digitized and converted your being into something that could only exist in cyberspace where your mind fluctuated to the rhythm of the global clock, which happened to be a juicy glitch hop beat.

Thank you all for having supported me in the past. It's been a rough year to be completely honest, and quarantine has had me take some much needed personal inventory. 

I can't express how much I appreciate each and every one of you, if anything it makes me feel guilty to a certain extent.

I'm trying to get my life on track and focus on these 2 track EP's once again. I've been sitting on a shit ton of tunes the last year since I moved to Denver, and I just wanna get them out there and move on so I can start grinding guilt free without feeling bad about something I didn't upload/finish.
