Well known for his energetic sets full of warm beats and basslines.

Musically inspired by the ol'skool House, Jungle and the UK Garage scene.

You'll definitly find these elements in his track selection. 
The musical journey in his sets starts with a warm welcoming sound which ends in an explosive climax.

Chief started playing at an attic on his 13th of age and has played since then at popular events nationally and abroad.

Currently you can find Chief Rocka rockin' at an UK Garage event Jangala which is held every 2 months in Amsterdam.

Groovers After Work presents our next guest DJ DU Baron, born in The Hague as Dave Hipke, came into contact with all kinds of music at an early age.
He has experienced the entire evolution from vinyl to digital. The technology behind making music inspired him and he turned everywhere to convey his passion for music to the public. 

Now living in Breda, a city in the south of the Netherlands, his network has grown strongly all over the world but never opted for the big stage himself. Since 2010 he shares his passion and experience with new talent as owner of the International DJ School based in Breda.

In 2021 he started to play the best Disco hit re-works, called NuDisco, under the name Du Baron. Du Baron is loosely translated from The Baron, meaning he shares and does not take.

Amsterdam based DJ/producer G-Double-E has been promoting the UK garage sound in The Netherlands from day one. In two decades, he invited all major players from the UK garage scene and has gained respect and everlasting friendships. 

He represents a genuine unique sound for the Dutch dance scene with a major cross-over to the UK market. 
It’s no coincidence that he worked with respected artists like MJ Cole, Majestic, Eddie Craig, Grant Nelson, Matt Jam Lamont, The Artful Dodger to just name a view.

He’s been a resident dj for respected events like Speedfreax, Valtifest, The Reunion and Wasteland. But he also played many other festivals. In the UK he even got to play sets in Fabric and Eastern Electrics festival. 

His first track of 2023 will be released on Matt Jam Lamont’s & Scott Diaz record label Undagrnd Freqz.

Born and raised in Germany Maex and Point85 followed their passion on music which led them on their path to Bali. And for them it’s all about good vibes in their sets and own music productions.
The duo is well-known as welcoming persons who have lots of energy which is super contagious to every party that they’ve ever been played. Get ready for the groove! Every set of these two is about groovy, funky house tunes that simply puts you in a good mood!
A mix between Disco, House and Tech House that brings everyone onto the dance floor!
They started releasing music together end of 2019. Since then they worked with great labels such as In It Together, King Street, Walk Of Shame, Hive, Monoside, Mango Sounds, Funky Revival and many more.
Point85 and Maex, a combination between German perfection and Italian passion, is working over 15 years and before Bali they played already shows in Germany, Austria, Spain, Croatia and the Philippines.

Hailing from a little town in the Netherlands, NRoxanne is a talented house DJ making waves in the local scene. 

NRoxanne’s musical journey started back in her childhood at the age of 11. She got inspired by her parents and big artists on the roster. Drawn to the high-energy beats and infectious rhythms of electronic music, she started experimenting with the synthesizer of her grandfather. Her curiosity led her to start DJ'ing shortly after.

While developing her skills, she eventually defined her style in spinning (deep)house, Ibiza sounds, club house with inlfuences of soul and the 90’s. House classics and remixes from known tracks are having a great addition to her repertoire.  

While gaining experience in the house scene, NRoxanne felt a growing desire to explore the world of techno music. She began experimenting with new sounds and techniques, eventually creating a new alias for herself early 2021: IYA. Under this new name, she focusses on playing sequenced, bouncy, hardgroove inspired techno sets with a tensive buildup from start till end.

Because of her long career, she knows what good quality music is about. Standing in front of a crowd and adjusting the music to the people is something she has mastered over time.

With her unique style and infectious energy, NRoxanne is poised to become one of the breakout stars of the house music scene, and her growing popularity is a testament to her dedication and talent.

Sarah May has had a connection with music since she was a young girl. Surrounded by her father a well respected musician, she grew up with lots of Love & Music. Instead of going for a soccer training she decided to learn to play the piano and drums. Soon after she developed A big and true passion for electronic music and especially house music.  

Growing up with the legendary Amsterdam Club IT sound the journey and inspiration to become a “not your average” dj started.  

In her dj sets she gives A well blend mixture of genres that go from deephouse, techhouse, Chicago house and Minimal to building it up and balancing it with the most raw and dirty cuts with their own distinctive oldschool house grooves. 

This unique sound will get you floating throughout one of her fresh made mixes. 

She has played at the best clubs and spots in Amsterdam and Ibiza. And she is still expanding her field.  

As we speak Sarah May also started producing her own tracks and in the near future new tracks will be served. 

Sarah May dares to go off the beaten path and therefore she is just one of those DJs you won’t forget…

This week Mr. Jay invited Mr. Blonde to do a set alongside him.

@mrblondenl first love has always been UKG. Hooked since he first heard a Sunship track when he was 14, you can say he’s an expert when it comes to the UK sounds. 

Now he’s been DJ’ing for 15+ years so you can expect anything from sweet sexy 2-Step, UK Funky to energetic Speed Garage and Bassline, with a hint of Grime & Jungle in his sets. He knows what it takes to make the crowd move. 

He is the co-founder of DECOY, one of Amsterdams finest UK Garage nights. Where he booked and shared the stage with legends of the game, like DJ Q, Sunship, Preditah, Wookie, Flava D, Swindle, Madam X and Agent X, to name a few. Currently he is also a resident DJ at Jangala, Pacific Westerpark in Amsterdam, where he plays these lovely sounds bi-monthly.
