SMALLCAST Mix Series

This set is a journey through multiple dimensions of space and time. A mix made of various melodic, spacy, uplifting and danceable tracks - crafted to give everyone the motivation and energy to get moving on the dancefloor! It also starts with a rare gem: Lighthouse, which is a track by Tim Blake, released in 1978! But you will hardly notice it's age - Tim Blake was way beyond his time with that track, and he is also one of my primary inspirators, both with his music and lightshows. Dancing through space and time

I'm happy to publish my first live outdoor mix, recorded in Stensparken/Oslo! This set is a tale about a happy planet, where everyone is dancing in joy - until the dark corona shadow fall over the planet, and the local dictators - in their panic - close all dancefloors, and forbid dancing..
So this set begins with a mix of beautiful melodic tracks which I love - but turn into darker and more system critical (technopunk) tracks in the end. I'm pretty happy with the collection of tracks, and hope others will love this tale as well - enjoy! :)

DJ PeterPan (Peter Greenwood / PeterPan303)
From Norway’s underground scene, PeterPan, aka Peter Greenwood, has been crafting electrifying beats since the '80s. 
Fueled by his love for iconic gear like the TB-303, TR-909, and Juno 106, he launched his label NeverLand Productions with the 1998 album Homegrown. 
Known for melodic house and hypnotic beats, Peter’s DJ sets ignite dance floors, having shared stages with legends like Sasha, John Digweed, and Guy J. 
With recent releases like The Dream and Gamechanger, plus several remixes, Peter continues to take listeners on unforgettable journeys to NeverLand.

Mike Magler – DJ & Producer

Mike Magler has been an active force in the electronic music scene since 1995, then he was a resident DJ at Toons with Christian Rot and Eric Small. He played at renowned venues and events across the globe. His impressive career includes residencies at some of Ibiza’s most iconic clubs, such as Sa Trinxa, Bora-Bora, Grial, Naïf, Noctambula, Club 900, and the legendary Amnezia Ibiza.

From 1996 to 1999, Mike was a resident alongside Ricardo Villalobos at the celebrated Sun*set Café in Ibiza, solidifying his reputation as a forward-thinking and versatile DJ. He also played a pivotal role as the creative mind behind the concept Beautiful People, a project that captured the true essence of the Ibiza experience.

With nearly three decades of experience, Mike continues to evolve as both DJ and producer. Recently, he teamed up with Eric Small at Smallville Studio in Oslo to focus on music production. Together, they are currently working on fresh material, with new releases on the horizon.



SMALLCAST: 169. MIKE MAGLER (Norway)

Small Records is a Norwegian independent record label based in Oslo, that specialises in Electronic music genres like Techno, House, Melodic, Deep House, Minimal, Deep Tech and Tech House.  

The label was established in 2010 by founder, DJ, promoter and producer Eric Small, initially to distribute the debut EP “Super Superficial” by Poporn Radio and “Great outdoors” by Mudman, both releases was only distributed on CD’s. From this point on the releases came frequently on digital platforms.

In 2015, the label released “Still Sleepy EP” by Mudman, This was a turning point for the label. The release got some steady remixes from great producers like Marcello V.O.R., Lars Wickinger, and Robert Solheim to mention a few. The release gained massive support from many well established Dj’s around the world. The next success was “Deep Sea” by Arthur Thalison & Caia Lopez from Brazil. With vocals by Cari Golden and remixes from Sezer Uysal, DLC and Andre Anttony, the EP received lots of positive feedback and support.

After this the label signed and released numerous EP’s, compilations and albums, and Small Records now has 47 releases with over 300 tracks from more than 80 different artists and groups around the globe. After a longer break, due to label boss Eric Smalls very successful, but also time consuming club Elefant, Small Records is now back! Watch out for some really amazing new music soon to be released, and stay tuned for the next chapters of this journey trough the wonderful world of electronic music.
