From Skating the Streets to Spinning Beats

Alessio and Leopold, both native Regensburger met through their mutual love of skating and music at school. 
Many of their skating sessions went hand-in-hand with listening to and discussing different genres of music.
They soon started producing together and found their first gigs at local Regensburg clubs and festivals where Battery Flex served up their beats. They also started experimenting with different scenes; from Breakbeat to Italo/Letfield house to Ambient to Detroit Techno. However, they were still struggling to find their own style, though this would all change one very special club visit for the duo.

After this game changing experience, it was clear in which direction they want to go. Fleeing from Bavaria, the duo made their way to the mother city (Berlin) where it became all about the music. Vinyls were now a hot topic for the duo and they started producing their own tracks and mixes. 

“We love playing vinyl records and jamming on drum machines, but we are also interested in modern music making techniques, like producing in Ableton Live. We want to find the middle ground between the old legendary Breakbeat tunes and future elements, and we are always pushing our limits with the aim of getting people to lose themselves in our sets”
