Smash The House regular D-wayne returns to release another banger via sister label Generation Smash, teaming up with Gwise for ‘Waste No Time’. D-wayne has enjoyed a fruitful time on the release front over the past couple of years, with releases appearing on Steve Aoki’s Dim Mak and Spinnin’, as well as regular releases on Smash The House, and this debut collaboration from the pair is a match made in heaven, with an impressive combination of electronic sounds and urban flavours, set to further propel both artists’ careers. 

An imposing rap vocal appears from the start, pushing the track forwards and providing the intensity in the beginning, as Gwise and D-wayne’s impressive production capabilities are brought to the fore early on, as a gliding lead sits atop a pounding kick drum, and ensures the track strikes a fine balance. War drums in the main breakdown give the track are in keeping with the track’s ominous nature, and cement ‘Waste No Time’ as a certified dancefloor destroyer.
