Magic Wand casts a spell on Dimitri Vegas , Like Mike & W&W’s smash ‘Arcade’

After the success of Magic Wand’s debut ‘Sunset’ on Smash The House, label heads Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike have enlisted the Belgian native to work his magic on their latest offering – their collaboration with W&W, the club banger ‘Arcade’. The remix sees the track primed to hit the festival circuit hard this year transformed from a main-room weapon into a tropical, summery affair primed to hit the festival circuit hard this year.

The epic drums and delayed guitar of the breakdown create the perfect hands in the air moment and guarantee the track will be a standout of every DJ’s set in festival grounds and on dancefloors across the globe. Magic Wand takes the same melody used in the original to create his own bassline which, paired with the tracks tribal-sounding percussion, combine to create a perfect feel-good summer anthem. Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike have gone head to head with Cologne based house upstart Klaas for a radio edit of MATTN and Futuristic Polar Bears brilliant ‘Café Del Mar 2016’. The track, available for preview March 21st across Spotify, Deezer and Apple Music, and also available for pre-order on ITunes, sees the original elevated to new heights with an arena sized mix by the Smash the House bosses. The track will be available as part of the ‘Café Del Mar 2016’ bundle, released on April 4th and featuring a selection of different mixes and edits. An official video will be also be released on March 28th, that will surely have fans waiting with baited breath.

This inimitable radio edit features Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike’s distinctive progressive sound combined with the groove laden bassline of the original, whilst Klaas’s heavy duty beats synergise perfectly with the track’s rousing vocals. ft. the Belgian ‘Red Devils’ Score with ‘Melody’, the official UEFA 2016 anthem

In October, Belgium's national ‘Red Devils’ earned a place at the 2016 UEFA European Championship in France. After the match at the King Baudouin Stadium, the world's best DJs, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike performed a sensational DJ set. 

And as it turns out, that was only a taste of things to come. Because the Belgian DJ-duo also composed the official Euro 2016 anthem, ‘Melody’.  At the request of the Red Devils and the Royal Belgian Football Association, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike got busy in the studio to create the Belgian Euro 2016 anthem. But they weren't alone. They were joined by international top DJs Steve Aoki and Ummet Ozcan. The result is ‘Melody’. It's a strong anthem that will inspire our Red Devils to perform at their best in France. 

The video clip was created by director Adil El Arbi. You may have spotted him recently around Antwerp, where he filmed a part of the clip. It promises to be a film with an urban look and feel.  And a sorely needed dose of positive energy for us Belgians.

Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike give their take on Bassjacker’s infamous ‘F*CK’

Smash The House’s head honcho’s Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike are always prepared to push the boundaries of dance music, and their edit of Bassjacker’s ‘F*CK’ is no exception. Bassjackers are no stranger to creating dancefloor anthems themselves such as “Bring That Beat”, “Marco Polo”, “Rough” and many more. With Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike following on from their Beatport #1 track ‘Melody’ on their own colossal Smash The House imprint, you can guarantee that this combination of two acts in such demand will only result in one outcome; a dancefloor bomb.

Dave Till & Regi vs Rudy Zensky team up again on the massive ‘HEY’

Capitalising on the success of 2015’s ‘HIYA’, one of the stand out tracks on Smash The House last year, Dave Till, Regi & Rudy Zensky combine once again on the follow up ‘HEY’, a track which takes the best bits from the group’s first outing and supercharges them. The end result is a no-frills club smash that is set to further solidify the trio’s names as the go-to guys for monumental dancefloor anthems.
 ‘HEY’ is instantly distinguishable as a Dave Till & Regi vs Rudy Zensky track by the similarly distorted, hardstyle-esque kick that proved so popular on ‘Hiya’. An electronic sounding stab punctuates the intro and builds tension towards the first breakdown. A breakbeat switches thing up midway through, joined by a tribal sounding, hypnotic vocal that loops its way around a fat synth line.
