Leading on from their previous smash collab of ‘Orca’ alongside Klaas, Mirana and Mazza stand tall once again for this ‘Next Step’ that is set the speakers alight from Australia, to Europe and back again for their debut collective Generation Smash release. Taking an eerie, creeping introduction that then swells Into A simple synth-driven, yet progressive, melody that races forth with progressions that envelope the vicinity it sits in – spacious, yet lush in sound. Showcasing crisp swathes of sound that deliver as polished whilst still keeping one foot in the underground, don’t expect this to be the last you hear of Diego Miranda and Mazza, as ‘Next Step’ is just the beginning.
