A hard trance, euro-dance classic back from 1998 Ixxel's famed 'Drop That Beat' receives a 2021 re-rub from party masters Dimitri Vegas & Like and Bassjackers.
 
A dialled in and upfront remix, this new interpretation of 'Drop That Beat' is loaded with more rhythm and bass pulse than the original. Retaining the renowned sample "I got something for your mind, your body and your soul", from First Choice's 'Let No Man Put Asunder'. The Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike and Bassjackers version has a partial techno texture to its exterior, but quintessentially it is a hard dance track.
 
The past year has seen much activity from Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike. Following a surge of smash releases that include 'Say My Name' with Regard, currently on 51 million Spotify streams, and 'Get In Trouble (So What)' with Vini Vici, which has over 19 million.
