If a foot-stomping, sing-along crowd pleaser with an infectious party energy is what you’re after, then look no further than Bassjackers and ANG’s new single ‘Olé Olé’ dropping on Smash The House this January.

Since then, Bassjackers have been a dominant force in electronic music. Boasting superstar collaborations with the likes of Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Martin Garrix, Showtek, R3hab, Afrojack and more, and an impressive run of eight consecutive years in DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs Poll, currently charting at #27.

ANG hail from Mexico and are renowned for their high-octane fusion of progressive trance, electro house, and big-room influences. The duo has captivated festival-goers across the world from EDC Mexico and Lollapolooza, to Ultra Music Festival and Tomorrowland. As well as dropping numerous dance-driven releases on respected labels including Revealed Recordings, Rave Culture, Armada Music and Spinnin’ Records. It’s no wonder that ANG have turned the heads of industry-leaders Timmy Trumpet, David Guetta and Hardwell, to name a few.

Alex Nocera and Roy Batty team up once again on Smash Deep, this time calling on Italian DJ/producer Tava complete the trio and produce feel-good house hit ‘Take Me Up.’

‘Take Me Up’ oozes and air of coolness over the steady uplifting groove and soul driven vocals that are doused in emotive energy. Deep prolonged keys fit Smash Deep’s signature enigmatic allure whilst downtempo electro effects, a clap-along kick, and a piercing synth melody that gets more voluminous with each build, shows off the authentic personalities of all three collaborators. 

A friend of the Smash Deep family, Alex Nocera has been a prominent force in Italy’s dance scene for years now with backing from the likes of Bob Sinclar, Axwell, David Guetta, Fedde La Grande, and more. All thanks to his immense fusion of future and electro house in the studio and commanding party craftsmanship behind the decks. 

Long-time co-producer and companion of Nocera, Roy Batty has been on a similar trajectory from local name to key scene player. Batty and Nocera last joined forces under Smash Deep on 2022 single ‘You and I’ and the respected selector has also featured on imprints such as Ultra, Teamwrk Records, Revealed Recordings and Future House to name a few. 

Finally, Tava brings his contemporary take into the mix. The rising DJ/producer makes his Smash Deep debut having already been handpicked by sister label Generation Smash. ‘Pump It Up’ is one of Tava’s top records to date, in collaboration with Nari, Stefano Pain and Luciana, the track went straight to #1 in the Beatport Electro House Top 100 chart making it a fine example of Tava’s limitless potential.
