First announcing himself on Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike’s sub-label last summer with the bigroom release of ‘By Your Side’, Italian trailblazer Luca Testa returns with another summer-prepped sizzler ‘Without You’. The track is set for release Jan 24th, bearing an audible nod to the old school happy hardcore sound for an esteemed showcase of creativity.

As a sentimental female top-line welcomes us into Luca’s latest hit, quickly upbeat synth stabs announce the old-school flavour as the track begins to light up the dancefloor. Swooping in with a hardcore backbeat, the tune storms ahead in major key while the vocal samples serve to amplify its distinguishable happy sound. It’s this keen ear for dancefloor moving hits that has seen Luca’s ‘Keep On Rockin’ dropped by the likes of Bingo Players at EDC Las Vegas, while his bootleg of Tiësto’s ‘Red Light’ made a notable feature on Danny Howard’s BBC Radio 1 dance show. 

Gaining an iconic status in his home country with festival appearances at Reload, Holi, Imagine Music, alongside everyone from DVBBS to NERVO, R3HAB to W&W any many more, Luca is quickly making his way up the festival bill. With plenty more in store for the year ahead, this genre-straddling DJ/Producer is certainly one to watch for 2020.
