Suark teams up with ADN Lewis for the epic ‘Beautiful Feelings’, dropping via Smash Deep. Suark has been making all the right noises with his latest outings, including the massive ‘Take It Slow’, which also dropped on Smash The House sublabel Smash Deep. ADN Lewis is an esteemed songwriter, penning hits alongside K-Pop megastars such as BTS and NCT Dream, and both artists’ confidence in the studio is clear in abundance on ‘Beautiful Feelings’.

Detuned synth overtones set the tone, alongside a growling lower note, quickly joined by the reflective vocals of ADN Lewis. New electronic elements are added, building towards the drop with the aid of a snare drum which cranks the track up into hyperspeed. The beat consists of sizzling hats and a bouncing bassline that makes sure that ‘Beautiful Feelings’ is as at home on the dancefloor as it is on the radio.

Suark has seen support on his recent offerings from some of electronic music’s highest-profile tastemakers, including label heads Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Yves V and Martin Jensen, and this combination is set to ignite both artists’ fledgling careers. Hot on the heels of the epic ‘Never Wanna Stay’ and ‘Ocean’, HINA flies in with his Generation Smash debut ‘Don’t Know’.

Igniting from the get-go thanks to its funk house melody, revolving round keys that punctuate the release, as the lyrics of “Don’t Know/ Who’s Gonna Save Me” spin atop a deeper dive into the funk, HINA shows his skills off as one of the hottest new artists in the scene. 

Sparking like a firework with an upbeat rhythm, tonal synths layer and shine to create a smorgasbord of piano-led ecstasy, worth of screw faces and hip shaking on the dancefloor. Italian production talent NIVEK takes the stage for his second release on Smash Deep with ‘Fooled Me Twice’. NIVEK impressed with his first outing on the Smash The House sister label, coming in the form of ‘Forever (ft. Zhiko)’, and he swiftly returns to build on a momentum that is increasing with every release.

Warm piano chords form an all-encompassing soundbed, as the lead vocal makes its mark early in the song. This is dropped in the first breakdown, as a round bassline steps to the fore in anticipation of the drop. The buildup increases in intensity, before the beat kicks in. The drums are full of house flavour, paired perfectly with the vocal hook. A guitar is introduced in the main breakdown, giving an acoustic freshness that makes ‘Fooled Me Twice’ stand out from the crowd. 

Whilst in the early stages of his career, NIVEK has drawn admiring glances from the likes of label bosses Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, who felt confident enough in the producer’s ability to sign him at such an early stage in his career. ‘Fooled Me Twice’ is another weapon in an increasingly explosive library that continues to grow.
