Bless That Ft. Tha Trickaz & Armanni Reign

The prolific Audio Noir dishes out another tasty treat with this two tracker entitled Progressive Tales. Just recently he was on hand for remix duty on the revamped Extreme Trax release, Sound & Future where he delved into a more electro theme with fantastic results. Currently he is finishing off some very exciting work which we hope to be seeing very soon. Lots to keep an eye and an ear on with this guy so stay tuned.

Solace & Light drags you deep into the progressive world right from the off as big chunky broken kicks burst through to the backdrop of a stunning atmospheric soundscape that really locks you in. An infectious arp dishes out a sweet melody as the beats go for a full on four to the floor groove. The track soon reveals an energetic, driving bassline that takes over the sound before we hit the break where a dark progressive lead is unleashed with a little help from a classic trance-like gated vox. A big and ballsy production that will definitely light up floors everywhere for sure.

Spaghetti Western intros with a surreal musical trotting hoof sound that is joined by punchy kicks, sharp claps and a devilish, driving bassline that dominates the groove. Shuffling hats provide a solid rhythmic platform where the layers build effortlessly as huge deep pad sequences form up on the break alongside a cool spoken vocal. The leads inject a dose of adrenaline that sends this deep progressive groover into overdrive complete with a sprinkling of Morricone for good measure. One for the big floors here that will not disappoint.

Today we have a welcome return on the label, as we finally have the honor to welcome back the brilliant producer producer from Greece Psychowsky to PHW Elements. For those of you following our label and the scene in general, know everything about this great producer and what he is capable of creating. This time he is bringing his brilliant “Lights Of Kiev” to our roster, and what a great progressive journey this is. Full of sparkling elements and and textures, he once again proves what a great artist he is, building fantastic melodic numbers with both character and atmosphere, superb stuff is here for you.

On remix duty, we have the pleasure to present you some absolutely stunning names on remixes, as we have a first time appearance from the Melbourne based producer Matter on PHW Elements. We have been chasing him for a while, and finally we got a track on that he really enjoyed and wanted to take the challenge and build something of his own. The result?

Well to be fair, the music speaks for itself, as he builds a groovy monster, packed with supreme elements and grooves that most definitely defines what a hypnotic progressive journey is all about. It is a truly monstrous production that we are so happy to be able to present to you all.

Next up is another debut on PHW Elements, as we see the great alias of qoob joining our roster. Being a producer that we have been following for ages, having the style of music that we seek for, we of course went nuts when accepting to take a twist on this production. The outcome is more than we ever could ask for, as you will witness a fantastic journey in melodies and harmonies where deep and evolving textures is the key. Absolutely fabulous stuff here that we do know a lot of you guys will fall for.

The closing number is a welcome return from one of our great buddies on the label, as we see a return from the long time server on the scene, Fractal Architect. Being one that is literally making music each and every day, he here takes his twist on the original ideas from Theo. With a slightly more upbeat take, he bring on his quality and diversity to the release. It has a great groove with the rolling bass sounds, and together with supreme pads and effects, this little masterpiece is one to hit the sets and track listings for many months to come.

A superb musical treat to your ears and overall a massive package in our opinion that no one should miss out on!

The album will be launched at a special 18th birthday party on 19th November 2016 at Ministry Of Sound, London, where John Digweed will perform a very special extended set in the main room. Expect no less than a musical master class from the Bedrock boss here as he looks to take the crowd on a journey from start to finish. Bedrock 18 gives exhilarating new talent a voice through the melody infused, bottom-heavy club sound of Polish Manchester resident Sebastian Markiewicz; the deep and atmospheric aural landscapes of Brooklyn NYCs Sam Jaspersohn; Amaris melody-rich hypnotic beauty; and the distinctive emotive atmospherics of French newcomer Kontakt. Innovative experimentation flows freely through Darren Emersons foreboding beatless reprise of Fanfare, whilst Quivver presents two takes of unrivalled electronic research. The wide-ranging influences, and beautiful and unusual music of Brazilian duo Daniela Caldellas and Daniel Albinatis Digitaria project, is juxtaposed by Guy Js mind-bending 2026. All stick to the script that electronic music should have no boundaries and creativity and feelings are the only things that matter. Highly creative collaborations come from Budapests Márió Domján (a.k.a. Collective Machine) and Austrias Philipp Straub, alongside Gabriel Rocha and Juan Carlos Villalbas dynamic Tiefstone vehicle. D-Nox and Frank Beckers unfurl their distinctive sound steeped in detailed rhythms and mesmerizing harmonies, while a slice of tremendous hypnotic techno comes courtesy of Ryan Davis & Microtrauma. Bedrock stalwart Phil Thompson (under his Moonface moniker) brings his unique deeply delicious grooves to the party, grooving perfectly alongside the understated beauty of Greek musical maestro Stelios Vassiloudis, and the heavy hitting techno funk of the legend that is Dave Angel; whilst Marc Romboy unleashes his deeply twisted remix of Emerson, Digweed & Muirs huge Fanfare. Theres also a bounteous array of dynamic club tunes from the likes of Geneva-based man with the midas touch Lee Van Dowski (who also adds his remix talents to Eagles & Butterflies appropriately titled and rather large Murder Was The Bass), the firing percussive funk of CJ Jeff, and the acid tinged attitude of Spains Uner on display. A distinct bonus to the exceptional and diverse talent on display throughout Bedrock 18 is the inclusion of C-Jays chilled Echoes album as a wind-down final disc. C-Jays previous artist album Backslider was also released on Bedrock (back in April 2016) gaining much critical acclaim, and here he presents his next unique artistic step further forward. Its a really, really personal album - hence the album title I think that what one has done in the past, echoes throughout ones life. Whatever you do, brings you where you are now. It might be tagged as chillout or ambient music, but actually its not 100%% that, its just me being me, making something no one else does. C-Jay
