District 78 is a Los Angeles based electronic dance music group and production team. They are best known for their work with the most well known and cutting edge dancers and choreographers in the world. Their cinematic style incorporates sounds from modern electronic genres and traditional film score to create a truly unique experience. Ruby-Throated is a quintet based in Los Angeles. With roots in Klezmer, Gypsy, Jazz, and Folk styles, the band is finding its voice in the Los Angeles music and art scene. Ruby-Throated is preparing to release their first EP record, “Lady”, with their second EP recorded and in post-production. With the new edition of the drummer, Hayley Brownell, they have big plans for the future, including the writing of their first full-length record.

In 1998, songwriting & production duo Emily Haines & Jimmy Shaw formed what would become Metric and left Toronto for NYC in search of like-minded artists. In 2001/2002, they were joined by drummer Joules Scott Key & bassist Joshua Winstead, and found themselves at the center of the city’s burgeoning alt-rock scene alongside bands like LCD Soundsystem, The Strokes, TV On the Radio, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Interpol and more. Unlike their peers, Metric resisted major label offers, releasing albums that pushed boundaries on their own terms.

Metric’s relentless pursuit of timeless songwriting and fiercely independent ethos have cemented their place as one of the most essential and ahead-of-the-curve bands of the last two decades.
