Kasra has pulled out all the stops, sifting through his phone book to enlist the talents of some of the biggest and most exciting producers in the game. Noisia, Dub Phizix, Enei, Phace, Sam Binga and Kasra himself all make sterling contributions that make for an album of the best of Underground Sonic expression.
It’s been a few years since our last fully fledged label compilation so I wanted to ensure this one was as vital as possible. For me this album truly encapsulates the essence of Critical, a balanced mix of all that’s exciting about this music - heads down lights out rollers, experimental side steps and some slightly more aggressive attention grabbers. First of all I like to wish you Merry Christmas. Think about positive things in life and have a great time together with your Family. That´s most important. I am really happy to give away my this years "Christmas Mix" (Number 05). This time I decided to record my DJ Mix in a Club in Germany (Augsburg) called "Kesselhaus" which I really love.  And this year I recorded a 2 hours Set and mixed it up with unreleased and also already released music of mine. I hope you have fun with that one and slide smooth into 2017.

TELEKINESIS return on powerful form to the EATBRAIN label with 5 tracks of a truly insidious and tearing nature in the NO BRAIN, NO PAIN EP. The pseudo-friendly eerie nature of ‘Slime Gland’ leads the way, with nostalgic synth lines and airy pads punctuated by sharp steppy percussion. The amen-laced structures of ‘Meanwhile’ build into a lean assault on the ears with a bassline in a deep stealth profile tucked tight against the beat. ‘No Brain, No Pain’ delivers a schizophrenic and penetrative sonic influx, leaning towards the comedic but retaining an overwhelmingly destructive form. ‘Wipe Out’ carries the powerful vocal of Eatbrain MC favourite NUKLEAR, whilst ‘It Could Be a Trap’ completes the EP with an effective and exceptional half stepper that seeks to obliterate everything in its rave-fuelled path.

Following ‘The Nightwalkers’ EP that saw them win over the Eatbrain fanbase in 2013, Slovenian production crew Telekinesis have gone on to dominate the European drum & bass scene with heavy touring and an ever-growing fanbase.
