Fresh off the back of her debut solo release ‘Everything Is Possible’ / ‘Fly’, Hospital Records’ newest signing SOLAH is back with another two-track delight as she continues to deliver stunning, soulful sonics into the summer of 2022. Her journey as a solo vocalist on the south London D&B imprint unfolds with ‘Constant’ and ‘Elevate’, giving a further insight into the Brighton-based singer-songwriter’s ever-expanding sound palette, with BCee and Unglued on production duties. ‘Constant’ and ‘Elevate’ will be SOLAH’s first standalone drum & bass release pressed to vinyl, with her previous singles ‘Everything Is Possible’ and ‘Fly’ on the AA side. SOLAH’s debut release on Hospital hit the ground running with widespread support from drum & bass big hitters including A.M.C, DJ Marky, DJ Storm, Pola & Bryson, Hugh Hardie and more. With UKF backing and radio spins from Fred V on Kiss under her belt, the momentum behind SOLAH is only continuing to rise.

Addictive hooks and the soul-drenched melodies of SOLAH’s voice captivate from the start on ‘Constant’. Her beautiful songwriting abilities and heartfelt lyricism align in perfect harmony alongside delicate synth plucks and bubbling basslines courtesy of BCee.

Making a return to the deeper sounds of drum & bass in which she built a name for herself, ‘Elevate’ is a hypnotically stripped-back cut, filled with a ravishing topline and powerful harmonies, garnished with the immaculate production skills of Unglued.

Boasting a solid and consistent string of back catalogue releases spanning many of the most respected labels in drum & bass including Critical, 1985, Shogun, Spearhead and Ish Chat Music, SOLAH has racked up vast amounts of well-deserved industry support as she cuts through the noise and blazes new trails for singer-songwriters, vocalists and performers.

Hugh Hardie’s smooth moving, funk and soul-spirited drum & bass has been making waves since he signed exclusively to leading D+B imprint Hospital Records in 2014. The Cambridge-born turned Bristol-living producer has been a busy man since his popular ‘City Soul’ EP. Now his growing repertoire is only getting bigger with his highly anticipated debut long player ‘ColourSpace’ that’s filled with liquid rollers, jazzy riffs, and feel-good flavours.

Staying true to that funk and soul delivery are tracks ‘Love Troubles’ and ‘She Moves’ – featuring up and comers GLXY – with rising drums and full-bodied basslines. Another collaborative effort comes from Shogun Audio signees Pola & Bryson in ‘Emerald City’ with sweetening doubled-up melodies and lush liquid roll-outs.

Diving into deeper D+B spaces, ‘Talk The Talk’ and ‘Closeness’ bring a cosmic energy to the mix. ‘Camera Obscura’ ft Maverick Soul highlights Hugh’s passion for percussions in parallel with ‘Shades Of Blue’ that touches on micro funk movements with clicky drums bringing a more minimalistic nature than Hugh’s regular rhythms.

For several years, Hugh has been making regular appearances across Europe and the UK for the world-renowned events brand Hospitality and is no stranger to lighting up packed dance-floors no matter the venue size. This summer you can catch him drawing from his collection at Glastonbury festival, Secret Garden Party and Sun & Bass, to name a few.
