Izzy Bizu is a singer songwriter hailing from South West London. Born to an Ethiopian Mother and English Father she grew up listening to Ella Fitzgerald, Bettye Swann, Betty Wright and James Brown and draws on these influences alongside newer influences, Amy Winehouse and Adele to create a fusion of soul, funk, jazz and pop that sounds classic and brand spanking new all at once.

Amnesia opened its doors in 1974 and since then have been one of the most famous clubs around the world and an Ibiza icon which has welcome inside its walls some of the best international Bands and Dj’s.

In 2007 Amnesia was awarded as BEST GLOBAL CLUB by the prestigious IDMA awards organised every year by the Winter Music Conference in Miami. Since then it has not stopped being awarded.

Originating from England based in British Columbia, James Barnsley signed to some of the worlds leading heavy weight labels such as Get Physical, Murmur, Overall Music and of corse his own label Vessel Records. 
His Production like his Dj’ing has received a great amount and support from world premier dj’s such as Richie Hawtin, Steve Bug, D’julz, Josh Wink and DJ W!ld amongst others.

Barnsley is a resident at the legendary Back to Basics in Leeds (UK) where you will regularly hear him playing the finest underground house and techno alongside the likes of Chez Damier, Delano Smith and Josh Wink. You can also catch him gigging around the rest of the UK and Europe. Barnsley is well liked and recognised amongst the upper echelons of house and techno which has helped provide a springboard for the young Yorkshireman’s rep.
