This track has been worked on for about three years all around the times of eclipses that are in Scorpio. As the eclipse today is in Scorpio it seemed like the right time to release it along with what I have been experiencing. It has gone under many transformations in those three years, just like my own path. I hope it offers a tool to help navigate such energies.

I got on my bike today and made a spontaneous mix honoring of Albert Hofmann's  magnificent moment in history, 80 years ago so (L)et's (S)tart(D)ancing!
This global psychedelicatessen of elevating, knotty, percolating, pulsing and squidgy bassliness is woven with a smorgasbord of flavor. Low-end basscapades, traditional horn lines and global soundplay all meet up with  the skank and stutter of dub reggae vibes while they mesmerizingly entangle with psychedelic sound design. Tides of Twilight is a deep journey that moves from soft caressing waves to undulating currents. The album takes the listener on an immersive journey through there own mythos.

Tides of Twilight first took shape on Orcas island in 2014 and evolved over 6 months. The album features collaberations with singers, guitarist, sax players, composers, and more. Isaac Cotec, aka Subaqueous, took his time in interweaving the album to bring this visceral experience.

Smiley Coyote dwells in the southwest where the desert meets the mountains.  Music has been streaming through his veins since birth.  Having been engulfed by the electronic music evolution, he's been along for the ride since the 90's.  West Coast festivals such as Burning Man, Symbiosis, Lightning in a Bottle and Beloved are what really sparked the desire to share musical journeys through DJing.  He's enjoyed sharing the stage with some of the top producers in the industry as well as performed for many festivals.  His musical selections are genre-bending and able to appease most audiences as long as they enjoy a touch of bass.  Sharing audible frequencies to the Ecstatic Dance community is his most fulfilling experience however.  He crafts each and every set in the moment with only the dancers participation as his guide.  As the co-producer of Unison Festival, he is constantly on the lookout for the freshest sounds to curate the southwest's premier transformational festival.
