Smithfield Boulevard started as a cover band based out of Plattsburgh, NY in the Spring of 2015. At the end of the Summer, the group disbanded due to its members returning to their respective academic institutions. Smithfield Boulevard reformed as an indie rock band in Potsdam, NY in the Fall of 2015 and now continues on to act as the songwriting alias for singer-songwriter and founding band member, Andrew Peryer, who currently resides in South Burlington, VT. The band recently released their debut EP on August 26, 2016 entitled, "The Golden Years," which is available on SoundCloud, Bandcamp, Spotify, CD Baby, iTunes, as well as many other major platforms.
