Expressing strong emotions, such as anger and frustration, but also calm acceptance, Robot86 releases his 2 track album, 'Last Night On Earth.' Reminiscent of atmospheric techno giants, Floating Points and Aphex Twin, Robot86 has captured his feelings and poured them through old breakbeats and cinematic soundscapes.

Robot86 is from a desolate planet where war has been raging since the beginning of time. Electronic music is his escape from reality, what makes him different from the rest of the inhabitants. Released in memory of his grandmother passing away due to Covid-19, 'Last Night On Earth' represents Robot86's inescapable and suffocating dread that he felt.

ONYX is the soundtrack to new beginnings and self-improvement. in the 5 or so month since leaving the last homeless shelter, i saw the financial impacts of covidsars2 coincided with moving into a new apartment and beginning a new journey in independence. in this time i've have begun daily restructuring of my efforts in self-improvement, multimedia production, information technology, and fan relationship nurturing. ONYX as a result contains more dreamy melodies and tactile rhythms. I'm a late 60s child who's been heavily influenced by jazz, classic rock, electronic, punk and post-punk, disco, new wave, dub, hip hop, house, techno, acid house and rave, drum & bass and jungle, downtempo, ambient and modern classical, indie, etc....to include some glorious fusions of these different forms.

I hope to reflect more of that wonderful diversity in "Explorations" moving forward, and yet stick to the core that has influenced this series to date.
