Minimal techno at 112 BPM with a steady, dry 4/4 kick, subtle sub-bass, crisp hi-hats, and tight percussive loops, The oud plays repetitive, plucked phrases with natural resonance and slight microtonal inflections, blending organically with the groove, No melodic lead, just evolving textures and rhythmic interplay between electronic elements and the oud, Sparse delays and reverb, used tastefully to keep the atmosphere minimal and focused, No vocals, no cinematic or industrial elements — pure stripped-back groove with a touch of traditional warmth.

I'm a late 60s child who's been heavily influenced by jazz, classic rock, electronic, punk and post-punk, disco, new wave, dub, hip hop, house, techno, acid house and rave, drum & bass and jungle, downtempo, ambient and modern classical, indie, etc....to include some glorious fusions of these different forms.

I hope to reflect more of that wonderful diversity in "Explorations" moving forward, and yet stick to the core that has influenced this series to date.
