This remix though that's turned all the party elements of the original into a stomping kickdrum and low end bass heavy BANGER.  The build up into the drop sets everything up perfectly and then there's those kicks, air raid sirens and low end for days.  One of our favorite tunes in the whole scene right now. The follow up EP to Yellow Claw’s epic Jeffree’s debut, Amsterdam Twerk Music cleans up your definition of “dirty” just so they can strip it down to booty claps and bass rolls. The first track, “DJ Turn It Up” is a subtle dance floor anthem reminiscent of the heavy bass from your nostalgic middle school days of grinding to timeless hip-hop anthems.

On the second track, Yellow Claw teams up with Tropkillaz and The Kemist to bring us “Assets,” a track that twists its vocals in a way that winds through the most bass-hungry, whimsical quarter of your imagination. “P*$$YRICH feat. Adje” then transports you deeper into Yellow Claw’s bass dungeon, leaving its victims up against the walls bumping and grinding till sunrise.

Amsterdam Twerk Music concludes with “Slow Down”, an addictive baseline paired with a jock-jams reminiscent hook. Yellow Claw are the tastemakers of guilty pleasure. But lets be honest… there’s no guilt attached to the obsession.

So here's my remix to Light's And Thunder. 

There's many things about this remix.
I brought in a bunch of the older Ton!c sounds but every single lead you hear in the drop (except the sawtooth dutch lead and the krewella vocal) are all my voice. So the process of the sound design was a bit longer than usual. There's another big room drop with a progressive feel to it. I also recorded myself clapping, and doing a couple other loops you'll hear in the full track. 

Now the ending was what i was excited to do. 
I've always loved reggae, and ive been wanting to add it to some of my tracks.
So i picked up my guitar, put together some drum samples i recorded, added some more of my vocals recorded on my iphone, whipped up a vintage sounding organ, brought in the melody i used for the progressive drop with a lead that was also created with my voice, and tried to make the whole piece sound like an actual reggae band. The trick was blending it all smoothly and come together so it works. So i hope you guys dig it!

also, the reggae doesn't come in that soon, there's a full minute outro before that comes in, this was just an edit i did for preview.

LA based producer Steve1der takes my 100 bpm tune GIT EM from the We Keep It EP and reedits it with Project Pat's Twerk Dat Ass. This edit was picked up by Grandtheft for his BBC Radio 1Xtra mix for Diplo & Friends, TWRK's volume one mix and so many 100 bpm mixes. This track has been in heavy rotation in midtempo sets and even found its way into DJ Snake's set list (via report by a fan at 1015 Folsom in San Francisco). I made a full edit with the 2nd drop now up for free download to play out $$$
